Network system, vehicle and control method thereof
A vehicle and a network system are provided to operate the air conditioning apparatus of the vehicle when a passenger within the vehicle is left unattended. The vehicle transmits a signal via a vehicle network to rescue the rear passenger, thereby ensuring passenger safety. The vehicle includes an output device and a communicator configured to communicate with a user terminal, an air conditioner, a sensor. The sensor obtains a movement of the passenger and a controller outputs an identification image through the output device when a movement signal of the passenger exceeds a reference signal after the vehicle doors are closed.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATED OPERATION AND HANDLING OF AUTONOMOUS TRUCKS AND TRAILERS HAULED THEREBY
A system and method for operation of an autonomous vehicle (AV) yard truck is provided. A processor facilitates autonomous movement of the AV yard truck, and connection to and disconnection from trailers. A plurality of sensors are interconnected with the processor that sense terrain/objects and assist in automatically connecting/disconnecting trailers. A server, interconnected, wirelessly with the processor, that tracks movement of the truck around and determines locations for trailer connection and disconnection. A door station unlatches/opens rear doors of the trailer when adjacent thereto, securing them in an opened position via clamps, etc. The system computes a height of the trailer, and/or if landing gear of the trailer is on the ground and interoperates with the fifth wheel to change height, and whether docking is safe, allowing a user to take manual control, and optimum charge time(s). Reversing sensors/safety, automated chocking, and intermodal container organization are also provided.

AN INTRUSION DETECTOR FOR A LORRY
For various political, commercial and humanitarian reasons there is a desire to detect intrusion of stowaways into lorries and other freight vehicles. Many traditional intrusion detectors operate on the bases of detecting an increase in carbon dioxide within a space as indicator of presence of a human. A problem arises when the freight vehicle is carrying perishable goods such as fruits and vegetables which give off CO.sub.2 as they perish which makes it difficult to reliably attribute the cause of an elevation in CO.sub.2 concentration.
An embodiment of the invention overcomes this problem by detecting a sudden decrease in CO.sub.2 concentration within the freight vehicle from a concentration that is much elevated from a background atmospheric concentration of around 400 ppm. This sudden decrease can be attributed to opening of a door of a trailer allowing the escape of CO.sub.2 that has built up as the freight perishes.

Provided is a vehicle, including: a communicator configured to perform communication with a user terminal or a remote control device; a sensor configured to acquire surrounding information of the vehicle; and a controller including a processor configured to process the surrounding information. The controller is configured to identify a location of the remote control device based on the communication and transmit a warning message to the user terminal when an obstruction is identified between the identified location of the remote control device and a location of the vehicle, based on processing the surrounding information.
