Parking Enforcement System

A parking enforcement system configured to impair the view of a driver through a windshield of a vehicle is provided. The parking enforcement system includes a plurality of covering assemblies. Each of the covering assemblies has one or more suction assemblies configured for placement against a windshield of a vehicle. A pump assembly is configured for pneumatic communication with the one or more suction assemblies. The pump assembly is configured to develop a partial vacuum between the suction assemblies and the windshield. A release assembly is configured for pneumatic communication with the one or more suction assemblies. The release assembly has a servo motor configured to actuate release of the suction assemblies from the windshield.

VEHICLE CONTROL BY A REMOTE OPERATOR

A vehicle control system may include a vehicle having a propulsion unit and a steering unit, a forward-facing camera carried by the vehicle, a processor, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising operator position identification instructions. The operator position identification instructions direct the processor to identify relative positioning of a remote operator on the ground proximate the vehicle based upon signals from the forward-facing camera; and control the propulsion unit and the steering unit of the vehicle to follow the operator based upon the relative on the ground proximate the vehicle.

Variable height exterior keypad

A vehicle access control system is disclosed and includes a touch sensitive display for generating an input image and controller configured to control the input image generated on the touch sensitive display responsive to information regarding a height of an operator. The system controls a lock actuatable responsive a signal from the controller.

INPUT SIGNAL MANAGEMENT FOR VEHICLE PARK-ASSIST

Method and apparatus are disclosed for input signal management for vehicle park-assist. An example vehicle includes an autonomy unit for remote parking, a communication module, a sensor, and a controller. The controller is to designate a mobile device responsive to determining the remote parking is inactive and receiving an activation request from the mobile device. When the mobile device is designated, the controller also is to process remote parking signals of the mobile device, stop the remote parking when the sensor detects engagement of a door handle, and prevent processing of other nonemergency requests.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE ASSISTED DYNAMIC MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION

A system includes a processor that receives an authentication request, at a vehicle, from an application executing on a device in communication with the vehicle, including a security designation. The receiving vehicle then determines if the vehicle has access to a primary security authentication system corresponding to the security designation. The vehicle also, responsive to the vehicle having access, utilizes the primary authentication system to authenticate a user via the determined primary security authentication system and provide user credentials, obtained based on successful use of the primary authentication system, to the device.
