A system and method for operation of an autonomous vehicle (AV) yard truck is provided. A processor facilitates autonomous movement of the AV yard truck, and connection to and disconnection from trailers. A plurality of sensors are interconnected with the processor that sense terrain/objects and assist in automatically connecting/disconnecting trailers. A server, interconnected, wirelessly with the processor, that tracks movement of the truck around and determines locations for trailer connection and disconnection. A door station unlatches/opens rear doors of the trailer when adjacent thereto, securing them in an opened position via clamps, etc. The system computes a height of the trailer, and/or if landing gear of the trailer is on the ground and interoperates with the fifth wheel to change height, and whether docking is safe, allowing a user to take manual control, and optimum charge time(s). Reversing sensors/safety, automated chocking, and intermodal container organization are also provided.

In a method of registering a smart key for construction machinery, a first password is generated in a smart key module mounted in a construction machine. A user setting graphic interface through which a user can input a password, in the smart key module or a user terminal, is provided to the user. The password inputted by the user is compared with the first password in the smart key module to authenticate. An authentication code of a near smart key that is recognized by the smart key module is registered as a new registration authentication code when the inputted password is authenticated.

In a method of registering a smart key for construction machinery, a first password is generated in a smart key module mounted in a construction machine. A user setting graphic interface through which a user can input a password, in the smart key module or a user terminal, is provided to the user. The password inputted by the user is compared with the first password in the smart key module to authenticate. An authentication code of a near smart key that is recognized by the smart key module is registered as a new registration authentication code when the inputted password is authenticated.

A vehicular exterior door handle assembly includes a base portion configured to mount at a vehicle door. A handle portion includes a grasping portion and is movable relative to the base portion between a recessed position, where the grasping portion is recessed at the base portion, and a deployed position, where the grasping portion protrudes outward to be graspable by the user. A deployment mechanism is operable to move the handle portion between the recessed and deployed positions. A control module, based on a user input, actuates a latch mechanism to unlock the vehicle door. The deployment mechanism, responsive to the control module unlocking the vehicle door, moves the handle portion from the recessed position to the deployed position. With the handle portion in the deployed position and the vehicle door unlocked, the handle portion is graspable by the user to open the vehicle door.

A vehicular exterior door handle assembly includes a base portion configured to mount at a vehicle door. A handle portion includes a grasping portion and is movable relative to the base portion between a recessed position, where the grasping portion is recessed at the base portion, and a deployed position, where the grasping portion protrudes outward to be graspable by the user. A deployment mechanism is operable to move the handle portion between the recessed and deployed positions. A control module, based on a user input, actuates a latch mechanism to unlock the vehicle door. The deployment mechanism, responsive to the control module unlocking the vehicle door, moves the handle portion from the recessed position to the deployed position. With the handle portion in the deployed position and the vehicle door unlocked, the handle portion is graspable by the user to open the vehicle door.

In some implementations, a device may receive an indication of a code associated with granting authenticated access to a door. The device may transmit, to a user device, presentation information to cause an augmented reality image of an input pad to be displayed by the user device, wherein the augmented reality image is displayed over an area of an image of an exterior of the door via a user interface. The device may detect, via a camera device, one or more user inputs to the area of the exterior of the vehicle based on tracking a movement of a user. The device may identify an input code based on the one or more user inputs. The device may perform an action to cause the door to be unlocked based on the input code matching the code.

In some implementations, a device may receive an indication of a code associated with granting authenticated access to a door. The device may transmit, to a user device, presentation information to cause an augmented reality image of an input pad to be displayed by the user device, wherein the augmented reality image is displayed over an area of an image of an exterior of the door via a user interface. The device may detect, via a camera device, one or more user inputs to the area of the exterior of the vehicle based on tracking a movement of a user. The device may identify an input code based on the one or more user inputs. The device may perform an action to cause the door to be unlocked based on the input code matching the code.
