Luggage management system and luggage management method
A luggage management system includes: a locking/unlocking device mounted in a vehicle and configured to lock and unlock the vehicle in response to a request from a terminal, the terminal being used by a user who delivers luggage; an imaging device configured to capture an image of an inside of a predetermined area located in the vehicle, the predetermined area being used as a delivery place of the luggage; a control device configured to cause the imaging device to capture the image in the predetermined area when the locking/unlocking device locks or unlocks the vehicle in response to the request, and store the image; and a determination unit configured to determine, based on a result of comparison between a reference image and a comparison image, whether the luggage has been carried away from the predetermined area.
IDENTIFYING SUSPICIOUS EVENTS RELATING TO A VEHICLE
A system for monitoring suspicious activity of a vehicle includes a memory designed to store pattern data corresponding to a historical pattern of behavior of the vehicle. The system further includes a sensor designed to detect sensor data corresponding to a current vehicle behavior. The system further includes a network access device designed to communicate with a remote device. The system further includes an electronic control unit (ECU) coupled to the memory, the sensor, and the network access device. The ECU is designed to determine a suspicious event when the current vehicle behavior deviates from the historical pattern of behavior of the vehicle by a threshold amount. The ECU is further designed to control the network access device to transmit a notification of the suspicious event to the remote device.

SECURITY OPERATIONS OF PARKED VEHICLES
Systems, methods and apparatus of vehicle security operations during parking. For example, a vehicle includes: a proximity sensor configured to detect presence of an object approaching the vehicle when the vehicle is in a parking state; at least one camera configured to monitor surroundings of the vehicle when the vehicle is in the parking state; and an artificial neural network configured to extract identification information of the object from images generated by the camera and determine a security classification of the presence of the object. The identification information is stored in the vehicle and/or transmitted to a server or a mobile device, in response to the security classification being in a predefined category.
Vehicle off-guard monitoring system
A vehicle off-guard monitoring system includes an automobile vehicle having multiple sensor inputs capturing sensor data representing hazards including garage fires, excessive water or flooding, rain, snow, and at least one person loitering proximate to the automobile vehicle. A database has multiple saved images of the hazards. A computer compares the multiple saved images to the sensor data captured by the multiple inputs to identify if at least one match exists between any one of the multiple saved images of the hazards and the sensor data and when the at least one match exists generating a predefined warning signal. A smart-phone application in communication with the computer and a remote system signals the predefined warning signal to a user of the automobile vehicle to mitigate against damage occurring to the automobile vehicle.
Vehicle ambient audio classification via neural network machine learning
A method and an apparatus for detecting and classifying sounds around a vehicle via neural network machine learning are described. The method involves an audio recognition system that may determine the origin of the sounds being inside or outside of a vehicle and classify the sounds into different categories such as adult, child, or animal sounds. The audio recognition system may communicate with a plurality of sensors in and around the vehicle to obtain information of conditions of the vehicle. Based on information of the sounds and conditions of the vehicles, the audio recognition system may determine whether an occupant or the vehicle is at risk and send alert messages or issue warning signals.
VEHICLE SECURITY SYSTEM
A vehicle is disclosed which includes a controller having at least one of a vehicle security module and a playback module. The vehicle security module may operate in a secure once mode of operation or in a secure all mode of operation. The playback module records ride information associated with the vehicle. The ride information may be provided to an external device.
MONITORING SYSTEM, MONITORING CENTER DEVICE, MOUNTING DEVICE, MONITORING METHOD, PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A monitoring system in which a mounting device of a moving body and a monitoring center device are connected via a communication network, wherein the mounting device includes a photographing unit configured to photograph a passenger, and a feature transmission unit configured to transmit feature data of the passenger, and the monitoring center device includes a monitoring processing unit which determines whether the feature data is recorded in a database and performs monitoring processing on the basis of a result of the determination.
Method and apparatus for disabling a vehicle
A vehicle disable black box in an owner's automobile and will allow a police vehicle to disable the automobile in the event it is stolen and involved in a high speed chase. A police transceiver is located inside a police vehicle. A vehicle disable software program, installed in the police computer, will give the police officer access to the description of nearby automobiles which are equipped with a Vehicle disable black box. Via the software program, the police officer will view a number of automobiles on the computer screen. Using several key features in the software i.e. make, model, license plate, etc., the police officer will determine which automobile is the correct one to disable, and broadcast wirelessly a signal targeting only the desired vehicle. This disable signal will be received by the targeted vehicle disable black box, and shut off power to the fuel line of the automobile.
VEHICULAR RECORDING CONTROLLER APPARATUS, VEHICULAR RECORDER APPARATUS, VEHICULAR RECORDING CONTROLLING METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
A vehicular recording controller apparatus includes: a video data acquiring unit that acquires video data captured by a camera capturing a video of the setting around a vehicle; an event detecting unit that detects an event on the vehicle; a position determining unit that determines whether the position of the vehicle is within the field of view of an external camera making a video available for use by a user of the vehicle; and a recording function control unit that controls a parking-mode recording function for storing video data captured by the camera when the event detecting unit detects an event while the vehicle is parked.
