CONTACTLESS ALARMING SYSTEM FOR PROACTIVE INTRUSION DETECTION
An alarm system and method of protecting a property from intrusion is disclosed. The property can be a vehicle that includes the alarm system. The alarm system includes an exterior camera for obtaining an exterior camera image data, an interior camera for obtaining an interior camera image data, and a processor. The processor is configured to determine first threat indicator for a potential intruder from the exterior camera image data, determine a second threat indicator for the potential intruder from the interior camera image data, determine a fused threat estimate indicative of an intention of the potential intruder from the first threat indicator and the second threat indicator, determine a consolidated threat estimate from the fused threat estimate and a contextual information for the property, and provide an alarm to protect the property from intrusion based on the consolidated threat estimate.

Microphone-based vehicle passenger locator and identifier
A vehicle passenger locator and identifier system and method is provided herein. Once a vehicle is within a certain vicinity of an intended passenger via conventional mobile device geolocation or geofencing, and/or via a conventional camera-based technology, a plurality of microphones listen for the passenger to utter a predetermined word or phrase. Optionally, this predetermined word or phrase has been uttered to a mobile application used to summon the vehicle such that an accurate voice comparison can be made by the vehicle. Alternatively, the same or a different mobile device can be used to emit an auditory beacon that is detected by the vehicle. Once this word, phrase, or auditory beacon is detected, the passenger can be triangulated, located, identified, and even authorized for pickup. All of this is carried out via an onboard vehicle processor and software and/or a processor and software residing in the cloud.

Vehicle surveillance system and early vehicle warning of potential threat
An example operation includes providing an alert related to an event based on a difference related to a speed and an angle of an element exiting in a first zone around a transport and entering a second zone within the first zone, if the difference is above a threshold.

PASSENGER SUPPORT SYSTEM
Among other things, techniques are described for a passenger support system. In an example, a reported number of passengers associated with on-demand mobility transportation services is obtained in response to passengers opting-in to a passenger support system. The reported number of passengers is compared with a vehicle detected number of passengers. In response to the reported number of passengers being unequal to the vehicle detected number of passengers, a remote customer assistant is enabled.

Apparatus and method for determining proximity in smart car system
The present disclosure relates to determining proximity in a smart car system, and a method for operating a vehicle system comprises the steps of: receiving at least one signal transmitted by a user apparatus; transmitting measurement data for the at least one signal to a management apparatus; and receiving updated mapping data from the management apparatus for the measurement data and proximity data.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CAPTURING IMAGES AROUND VEHICLE FOR INSURANCE CLAIM PROCESSING
Systems and methods are provided for processing an insurance claim using a target captured image. A motion-based event associated with a vehicle is detected. One or more images of the motion-based event are captured automatically using a vehicle sensor. The one or more images are stored in a data stored associated with the vehicle. A request for an insurance claim from a user is received. A user interface is presented that enables the user to select the one or more images stored in the data store for associating the images with the insurance claim. A selection is received of at least one target image of the one or more images. Processing of the insurance claim is facilitated along with the selected at least one target image for processing.
