Vehicle Systems for Displaying Information and Methods for Operating the Same
A method for displaying information from a vehicle including determining whether an occupant is within the vehicle, determining whether the vehicle is in a disengaged mode, and in response to determining that an occupant is not within the vehicle and determining that the vehicle is in the disengaged mode, directing a display positioned on at least one window of the vehicle to increase an opacity of the display.
METHOD FOR DETECTING THE THEFT OF A VEHICLE
A method for detecting theft of a vehicle, includes the following steps: detecting a vehicle movement by an inductive vehicle charging system, checking the authorization for a detected vehicle movement, and outputting a message signal if an unauthorized vehicle movement is detected. The checking of the authorization for a detected vehicle movement is started after the start of a vehicle charging process.

Vehicle monitoring apparatus, fraud detection server, and control methods
A vehicle monitoring apparatus includes: a first communicator that receives specifying information for specifying a target vehicle from a server; and an acquirer that acquires driving information from the target vehicle, the driving information being information regarding driving of the target vehicle specified by the specifying information received by the first communicator. The first communicator transmits the driving information acquired by the acquirer to the server. For example, the acquirer may acquire the driving information obtained from the target vehicle through communication.

Method for stopping a vehicle
The vehicle (1) provides its identity to the portable electronic device (5) of a user not driving the vehicle, the portable electronic device displays visible features of the vehicle, the user selects the vehicle on the display to provide a signal to the wireless communication unit of the emergency stop system of the vehicle. In case of a terrorist attack, signals from a plurality of portable devices cause the vehicle to stop or slow down.

Vehicle monitoring
A monitoring system is configured to monitor a property. The monitoring system includes a property sensor that is configured to generate property sensor data that reflects an attribute of the property. The monitoring system includes a vehicle sensor that is configured to generate vehicle sensor data that reflects an attribute of a vehicle associated with the property. The monitoring system includes a monitor control unit that is configured to analyze the property sensor data and the vehicle sensor data. The monitor control unit is further configured to, based on analyzing the property sensor data and the vehicle sensor data, determine that an event associated with the vehicle has likely occurred. The monitor control unit is further configured to, based on determining that the event associated with the vehicle has likely occurred, determine a monitoring system action. The monitor control unit is further configured to perform the monitoring system action.

Theft Deterrent System for a Catalytic Converter
The present invention is a theft deterrent system for a catalytic converter. The present invention alerts anyone nearby an automotive vehicle when someone is trying to steal the catalytic converter. The underside of the automotive vehicle is monitored by the present invention and the present invention can act independently or be integrated into the existing alarm system. The present invention can be positioned at various points across the underside of the automotive vehicle in order to accommodate different types of automotive vehicles. Furthermore, the present invention may be integrated into an aftermarket automotive vehicle alarm system without attaching or physically connecting with the automotive vehicle catalytic converter. This allows the automotive vehicle catalytic converter to remain uninhibited by the present invention while still being monitored by the security system.
