An apparatus and method for controlling a vehicle lock and a vehicle may be provided. The apparatus may include a main control circuit and a switch lock execution component. The main control circuit may be configured to determine a movement speed of the vehicle when the vehicle is in an unlocked state and is moved illegally. The main control circuit may be also configured to power on the switch lock execution component and control the switch lock execution component to lock a vehicle lock when the movement speed is greater than zero and less than a preset threshold. The switch lock execution component may be configured to execute a locking operation under control of the main control circuit after the switch lock execution component is powered on. According to the present disclosure, when the vehicle is moved illegally and the movement speed of the vehicle is greater than zero and less than the preset threshold, then locking operation may be executed so as to reduce a probability of occurrence of a dangerous accident.

An apparatus and method for controlling a vehicle lock and a vehicle may be provided. The apparatus may include a main control circuit and a switch lock execution component. Information is received from an inertial measurement unit (IMU) attached to a structure hosting at least one sensor. The information includes one or more measurements associated with the IMU. The at least one sensor is deployed on a vehicle for sensing surrounding information to facilitate autonomous driving. The one or more measurements are analyzed with respect to pre-determined criteria to detect tampering of the at least one sensor. When the tampering is detected, a response is generated to the event.
