Support motion measurement system, rehabilitation support system, support motion measurement method, and program
A walking training apparatus is a support motion measurement system for measuring a support motion performed for a training motion of a trainee by a training staff member assisting the trainee to perform training of a preset motion. The support motion measurement system includes a training motion detection unit, a support motion detection unit, and an identification unit. The training motion detection unit detects the training motion. The support motion detection unit detects at least one of a timing, a position, a direction and strength of the support motion received by the trainee from the training staff member in the training motion. The identification unit identifies the support motion for the training motion based on a motion pattern of the training motion.
Treadmills with obstacles and methods of use
A treadmill may be configured for gait training and/or therapy with attachable/detachable barriers affixable to a belt and/or with a vertical obstacle module and/or with sensor systems, but without requiring hoists, harnesses, attachments to the treadmill or base, or frame, and/or excessively high treadmill frames, such as those that exceed the height of the person on the treadmill. The barriers on the belt are configured to modify movement of only one foot of a person on the treadmill. The treadmill may use a single, integral belt. Methods of gait training and/or therapy may involve such treadmills without excessive expense and without excessive modification of standard treadmill equipment.
Walking assist device
A walking assist device has a frame, fixed handles, rails provided with movable handles, front wheels, rear wheels and that serve as drive wheels, drive units, a battery, and a drive control unit, and travels forward or rearward together with a user that walks while grasping the fixed handles or the movable handles. The walking assist device has an operation mode switching unit that switches between a training mode, in which a load is applied to operation of the body of the user performed as the user walks, and an assist mode in which a load on operation of the body of the user performed as the user walks is alleviated.
BENDABLE SENSOR DEVICE FOR MONITORING JOINT EXTENSION AND FLEXION
A system for rehabilitation is disclosed. The system for rehabilitation includes one or more electronic devices comprising one or more memory devices storing instructions, one or more network interface cards, and one or more sensors, wherein the one or more electronic devices are coupled to a user. The system for rehabilitation further includes one or more processing devices operatively coupled to the one or more memory devices, the one or more network interface cards, and the one or more sensors. The one or more processing devices are configured to execute the instructions to receive information from the one or more sensors. The one or more processing devices are further configured to execute the instructions to transmit the information to a computing device controlling an electromechanical device, via the one or more network interface cards.
Multimodal sensory feedback system and method for treatment and assessment of disequilibrium, balance and motion disorders
The invention relates to a system and method for measuring the biomechanical state of a subject using various sensors simultaneously with providing the subject with visual exercises for rehabilitation and assessment of disequilibrium, balance and motion disorders. The biomechanical state of a subject is measured during the subject's performance of a predetermined task. Such measurements are useful for the assessment of disequilibrium, balance and motion disorders and are also useful for the determination of therapeutic application of vibrotactile, auditory, or visual feedback to a subject during the subject's attempt to perform a predetermined task. An intelligent controller compares the subject's biomechanical state to a predetermined parameter to determine a variance. If the variance exceeds a threshold, feedback in the form of visual feedback, vibrotactile feedback or auditory feedback may be provided to the subject as a therapeutic means for enabling the subject to compensate for disorder effects.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING TO PROVIDE RECOMMENDATIONS TO A HEALTHCARE PROVIDER IN OR NEAR REAL-TIME DURING A TELEMEDICINE SESSION
A computer-implemented system includes a treatment device configured to be manipulated by a user while the user performs a treatment plan, a patient interface, and a computing device configured to: receive treatment; write to an associated memory, configured to be accessed by an artificial intelligence engine, treatment data, the artificial intelligence engine being configured to use at least one machine learning model to, using the treatment data, generate at least one of a treatment scheduling output prediction and an appointment output; receive, from the artificial intelligence engine, the at least one of the treatment scheduling output prediction and the appointment output; and selectively modify, using the at least one of the treatment scheduling output prediction and the appointment output, the at least one aspect of the treatment plan.
Portable lower limb therapy device
A portable lower limb therapy device having a support base and a pulley system. The support base includes an exterior surface suitable to slide on smooth surfaces and an interior surface suitable to receive and conform to a foot of a user. The pulley system defines a closed force transfer system that is integrated with the support base. The pulley system employs a pair of cord members which run along the right and left sides of the support member, a cross member positioned above the support member and connected at each end to one of the cord members, and two adjustable handle mechanisms. The pulley system is configured to transfer force applied behind and above the foot of a user that is in the support base to the support base.
REHABILITATION ASSISTANCE SYSTEM, REHABILITATION ASSISTANCE METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A rehabilitation assistance system, a rehabilitation assistance method, and a program capable of appropriately assisting the rehabilitation are provided. A rehabilitation assistance system according to an embodiment includes: a first acquisition unit configured to acquire first information in accordance with a level of achievement of rehabilitation training performed by a rehabilitation patient in a first training apparatus; a second acquisition unit configured to acquire second information in accordance with a level of achievement of rehabilitation training performed by the rehabilitation patient in a second training apparatus which is different from the first training apparatus; and a display unit configured to display the first information and the second information in such a way that they are arranged close to each other.
