A walking training apparatus includes: a treadmill; a walking assistance apparatus configured to be mounted on a leg part of a user and assist the user's walking; a first pulling means for pulling at least one of the walking assistance apparatus and the leg part of the user upward and frontward; a second pulling means for pulling at least one of the walking assistance apparatus and the leg part of the user upward and rearward; and control means for controlling, while the treadmill is not being operated, pulling forces of the first pulling means and the second pulling means in such a way that the direction of a resultant pulling force, which is a resultant force of the pulling force of the first pulling means and the pulling force of the second pulling means, is changed rearward compared to a case in which the treadmill is being operated.
Exercise Device
An exercise device for use by persons with limited strength or mobility includes a a frame member situated in an interior area of a body member. First and second upper appendages are coupled to and extend away from upper left right regions of the body member. First and second lower appendages are coupled to and extend away from lower left right regions of the body member. A top appendage may extend away from a top region of the body member. A tension member, such as a tension spring, is situated inside each appendage and is configured to be selectively bent, extended, or otherwise manipulated and is resilient to return to an unbent and retracted configuration. Movement of respective tension members enables a person to exercise, experience the touch sensation, and have feelings of pleasure and enjoyment. A magnet attached to the frame member attracts other magnetic or metal items.
Leg exercise machine
A leg exercise machine includes a frame and a swinging mechanism. The swinging mechanism includes two parallel tubes, four swinging rods and two pedals. The tubes are supported on the frame. Each of the pedals is connected to two corresponding ones of the swinging rods. Each of the universal joints connects a corresponding end of a corresponding one of the tubes to an upper end of a corresponding one of the swinging rods.
Locking device for recumbent stepper
A locking device for an exercise system may include at least one moveable assembly that is in communication with a resistance mechanism. The locking device has an actuating device for selectively engaging the locking device, a locking member having a contact portion, wherein the contact portion of the locking member is not in contact with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system when the actuating device is in a first position, thereby allowing movement of the at least one moveable assembly, and wherein the contact portion of the locking member is in contact with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system when the actuating device is in a second position, thereby preventing movement of the at least one moveable assembly.
INFRARED RAY EQUIPMENT FOR ROBOTIC REHABILITATION ON A TREADMILL, HAVING FLEXIBLE PELVIC ATTACHMENT
Rehabilitation device, comprising a motorized tapis roulant, a harness configured to support the weight of the patient; a plurality of infrared light sources, each one directed to light the muscles of a zone of the lower limbs of the patient; a motorized exoskeleton for lower limbs, configured such that it is fastened to the patient femur, tibia and foot and such that it guides his movements while walking in a combined manner with the movement of said tapis roulant; a user interface, arranged in a position visible for the user; a data processing and control unit, configured to control said motorized exoskeleton and said light sources, characterized in that said processing unit is configured to manage an intensity adjusting cycle of said light sources in a differentiated manner for each one of said sources, as a function of the movement cycle imposed by said exoskeleton to the lower limbs.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR BODY WEIGHT SUPPORT SYSTEM
A body weight support system includes a trolley, a powered conductor operatively coupled to a power supply, and a patient attachment mechanism. The trolley can include a drive system, a control system, and a patient support system. The drive system is movably coupled to a support rail. At least a portion of the control system is physically and electrically coupled to the powered conductor. The patient support mechanism is at least temporarily coupled to the patient attachment mechanism. The control system can control at least a portion of the patient support mechanism based at least in part on a force applied to the patient attachment mechanism.
Balance training system and control method for balance training system
A balance training system includes a moving carriage that moves on a moving surface, and a detection unit that detects a load received from training person's feet, and drives a driving unit based on the load's center of gravity of the feet to control movement of the moving carriage. A boarding plate is divided into a front plate on which a toe side of the feet is placed and a rear plate on which a heel side of the feet is placed. The detection unit includes right and left front load sensors, respectively provided with tilts to right and left foot sides, on a rear surface side opposite to the boarding surface of the front plate, and right and left rear load sensors, respectively provided with tilts to the right and left foot sides, on a rear surface side opposite to the boarding surface of the rear plate.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REMOTELY-ENABLED IDENTIFICATION OF A USER INFECTION
Systems and methods for identifying a condition of a user. A treatment apparatus is configured to be manipulated by the user for performing an exercise, and an interface is communicably coupled to the treatment apparatus. One or more sensors are configured to sense one or more characteristics of an anatomical structure of the user. A processing device and a memory is communicatively coupled to the processing device. The memory includes computer readable instructions, that when executed by the processing device, cause the processing device to: receive, from the sensors, one or more sensor inputs representative of the one or more of characteristics of the anatomical structures; calculate an infection probability of a disease based on the one or more characteristics of the anatomical structures; and output, to the interface, a representation of the infection probability.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR USE OF TELEMEDICINE-ENABLED REHABILITATIVE EQUIPMENT FOR PREDICTION OF SECONDARY DISEASE
A computer-implemented system may include a treatment device configured to be manipulated by a user while the user is performing a treatment plan, a patient interface comprising an output device configured to present telemedicine information associated with a telemedicine session, and a first computing device configured to: receive treatment data pertaining to the user while the user uses the treatment device to perform the treatment plan; identify at least one aspect of the at least one measurement pertaining to the user associated with a first treatment device mode of the treatment device; determine whether the at least one aspect of the measurement correlates with a secondary condition of the user; and, in response to a determination that the at least one aspect of the at least one measurement is correlated with the at least one secondary condition of the user, generate secondary condition information indicating at least the secondary condition.
