A protective case includes a top member, a compressible gasket, and a bottom member. The bottom member has a clasping mechanism that engages a clasping mechanism of the top member to compress the compressible gasket between the bottom member and the top member to form a waterproof cavity for receiving the electronic device. The bottom member further includes an optically clear area that aligns with the camera of the electronic device when the electronic device is installed in the waterproof cavity of the protective case and an attachment feature on an external surface of the bottom member for detachably connecting a camera lens to the bottom member. The attachment feature is configured to align the camera lens with the camera of the electronic device when the camera lens is attached to the bottom member and when the electronic device is installed in the waterproof cavity.

Cover removal fixture

A method and apparatus for disassembling a set top box is disclosed. The method includes providing the set top box including: a top cover, a base, and cover retention clips, wherein the cover retention clips are V or U shaped for securing the top cover to the base, providing a release fixture including a retention clip release finger, inserting the release fixture into the set top box, disengaging the cover retention clips using the retention clip release finger, and removing the top cover from the base.

Door securement mechanism for waterproof encasement

A door securement system for a protective case for housing a mobile device is provided. The protective case comprises a top shell that covers a top surface of a device and a bottom shell that cradles the back of the device. Where upper and lower backing elements are used that meet at a parting line along the outer (exterior) surface of the bottom shell, a locking mechanism may be used to pull the backing elements together and hold them in place. A multi-hinged door is positioned along a portion of the protective case to allow access to ports of the mobile device. The door has open, shut and sealed configurations.

Unit for attaching and distribution of multimedia peripherals

The unit comprises an assembly for clasping-escaping and a receptacle-terminal assembly. The assembly for clasping-escaping includes an L-shape subassembly having a vertical wall provided with backwards projecting, vertically spaced and inverted at 90 T-beams for connecting the L-shape subassembly to a parallelepipedic open box subassembly of a receptacle-terminal assembly. A bottom plate, located at the lowest part of the vertical wall extends outwardly. A passage above the bottom plate has a base terminating in a pair of serrations. The clasping-escaping includes a flat bar that after folding itself extends into a diverging strip provided with a multitude of serrations for meshing with the pair of serrations when a component is clasped. The parallelepipedic open box subassembly incorporates a plurality of T profile protrusions for connecting with the backwards projecting, vertically spaced and inverted at 90 T-beams.

Housing for an electronic circuit which is arranged on a printed circuit board

A housing for an electronic circuit comprises tub-shaped lower and upper parts and a rectangular printed circuit board, PCB. The lower part comprises PCB supports and molded position fixing formations on opposite inner walls and first parts of latching apparatuses, for connecting to the upper part, on opposite outer walls. The formations positionally fix the PCB by engaging into matching fixing slots therein. The PCB has, in each corner, a slot parallel to the inner walls with the supporting elements forming elongate, resilient tabs, the length of the slots greater than the spacing of the respective slot from the adjacent PCB edge. The upper part comprises pins protruding out of the plane of the edge and pressing the resilient tabs out of the PCB plane into the lower part, with the housing assembled, and, on opposite outer walls, second parts of the latching apparatus for connecting to the lower part.

Electrical device

An electrical device includes a container, a conversion unit, an outer cover and an inner cover. The container is provided with an inner bottom surface and an inner which define an accommodating channel together. An inlet of the accommodating channel is opposite to the inner bottom surface. The conversion unit is disposed within the accommodating channel. The outer cover covers the inlet of the accommodating channel. The inner cover is disposed within the accommodating channel, and located between the conversion unit and the outer cover. One part of the conversion unit extends to the opening, and at least one outer edge of the inner cover is connected to an inner wall of the container.

An electronic device includes a first component and a second component. The first component includes a first housing and a protrusion element. The first housing has a first cover plate, and the protrusion element is disposed on the first cover plate. The second component is rotationally assembled with the first component along a first direction. The second component includes a second housing, an elastic structure, and a switching element. The elastic structure has an elastic post. The second housing has a second cover plate having a through hole. One part of the elastic post passes through the through hole and is exposed on the second cover plate. The protrusion element moves along a first direction relative to the elastic structure, such that the elastic post is squeezed by the protrusion element to move along a second direction and presses the switching element.
