METHOD FOR REDUCING TENSION IN MUSCLES OF THE HUMAN BODY BY NEUROHEMATOLOGIC DIVERSION
A method for relaxing muscles and reducing tension in a human body based on neurohematologic diversion (NHD) which intends to reverse the flows of the neurological and vascular systems to effect changes in the musculoskeletal system. Neurological diversion occurs by interrupting the central nervous system's (CNS) autonomic sympathetic neurological flow to muscles of the axial spine and extremities. Vascular diversion occurs as the participant performs contractions using a most minimal force level in axial or peripheral muscle groups, which are neurologically linked to those in the hands and face to promote the shunting of blood to said muscle groups. The method is termed as Low Motion Method (LMM) that enables the participant to use inherent physiological processes to relax muscles and remove muscular tension in the human body.
Portable devices for exercising muscles in the ankle, foot, and/or leg, and related methods
A portable exercise device includes a pedal pivotably connected to a pair of supports. The pedal has a neutral position relative to a pivot axis. The pedal is configured to rotate about the pivot axis in a first direction toward one support and in a second direction, opposite the first direction, toward the other support. The exercise device also includes a resistance mechanism configured to exert a force on the pedal about the pivot axis in a direction opposite to the respective direction of rotation of the pedal about the pivot axis. The device is movable between an open, in-use configuration, where the pedal is disposed in the neutral position to receive a foot of a user and the pair of supports together form a triangular base, and a closed configuration, where the pair of supports are flush against the pedal.
Exercise device with port
An exercise device comprising a base frame comprising one or more belt members, a front axle configured to interface with one of the belt members, a rear axle configured to interface with one of the belt members and a port disposed on an underside of the base.
PORTABLE DEVICES FOR EXERCISING MUSCLES IN THE ANKLE, FOOT, AND/OR LEG, AND RELATED METHODS
A portable exercise device includes a first body and a second body. The exercise device also includes a support structure pivotably connecting the first and second bodies. The support structure is configured to move between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The device also includes a resistance mechanism configured to resist movement of the first and second bodies toward one another when the support structure is in the engaged position. When the support structure is in the engaged position, the first body is positioned substantially parallel to the second body such that in a first open, in-use configuration of the device, the first body has a first neutral position relative to a pivot axis and in a second open, in-use configuration of the device, the second body has a second neutral position relative to the pivot axis.

Active exercise apparatus for lower limbs
The present invention is intended to provide an active exercise apparatus for lower limbs that allows a user to perform on a floor lower limb active exercise highly effective in preventing thrombosis. An active exercise apparatus for lower limbs 10 includes, for example, a base body 1; a shaft 2 fixed to the base body 1 such that a central axis is vertical to the surface of the base body 1; arms 3a and 3b that are rotatably attached to the shaft 2 and are extended in two directions at an equal angle with respect to the central axis of the shaft 2; sole support plates 4a and 4b that are attached to leading ends of the arms 3a and 3b and rotatable by rotation axes x.sub.1 and x.sub.2 parallel to the surface of the base body 1 and the rotation axes z.sub.1 and z.sub.2 vertical to the surface of the base body 1; and reaction force exertion members that are installed on the back surfaces of the sole support plates 4a and 4b to exert a reaction force on backward rotation by rotation axes x.sub.1 and x.sub.2 parallel to the surface of the base body 1.
Pivoting abdominal exercise machine
A pivoting abdominal exercise machine is used to exercise and strengthen core muscles. The machine includes a hinged frame, a plurality of back supports, and a base stand. The plurality of back supports is connected along the hinged frame. Together, the hinged frame and the plurality of back supports are used to interact with and brace portions of the user's back as the user performs an exercise. The plurality of back supports may either be cushioned pads or rollers. The base stand is mounted to the hinged frame through an elastic pivot resistor. The elastic pivot resistor allows the user to rock, tilt, or twist about the base stand. A frame-grasping assembly is mounted to the hinged frame. The frame-grasping assembly allows the user to hold onto the device and maintain stability while performing exercises.
Vehicle seat assembly for physical exercise
A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat base, a seat back rotatably connected to the seat base, a seat bottom mounted on the seat base, and at least one of the following mounted to one of the seat base, seat back, and seat bottom: a resistance mechanism structured to exert a biasing force on at least one exercise arm operatively connected to the resistance mechanism; a bicycle seat receptacle structured for detachably mounting a bicycle seat to the seat base; and a docking mechanism structured for detachably mounting a pedal mechanism to the seat base.
PRESSURE ABSORBING ASSEMBLY FOR SUPPORTING A USER ABOVE A SUPPORT SURFACE
A pressure absorbing assembly (10) for supporting a user (35) relative to a support surface (16) includes a pressure absorber (12) and a resting component (14). The pressure absorber (12) is configured to contact the support surface (16). Additionally, the pressure absorber (12) is further configured to resiliently support the user (35) relative to the support surface (16). Further, the resting component (14) is coupled, e.g., directly coupled, to the Pressure absorber (12). Additionally, the resting component (14) is configured to be selectively engaged by the user (35) during use of the pressure absorber (12). The resting component (14) is configured to allow the user (35) to be in a seated, semi-seated, or somewhat reclined or leaning Position while still being situated on the pressure absorber (12). The pressure absorbing assembly ({circumflex over (.Math.)}) can also include a work station (2118) that is coupled to the pressure absorber (12).
