According to an electronic key device capable of wirelessly controlling a lock system and transmitting control authentication of a lock system, a system therefor, and a method therefor, which are presented in the present invention, an operation of the lock system is controlled by communicating with the lock system, and an electronic key can be simply transmitted and rented, at a long distance through a communication network, by communicating with another electronic key device and granting operation control authority of the lock system to the other electronic key device.

VEHICLE LOCK AND METHOD FOR ACCESS-CONTROLLED LOADING AND/OR UNLOADING

A vehicle lock includes a locking mechanism with a rotary latch and a pawl for latching the rotary latch when the vehicle lock is in a closed state, a receiver for receiving a reference code, a code transfer interface for obtaining an access code and a control unit which is configured such that the vehicle lock assumes an unlocked state when the obtained access code matches the reference code. The locking mechanism is used in a method for access-controlled loading and/or unloading of a vehicle. A high degree of automation of an access-controlled process for loading and/or unloading a vehicle can thus be achieved substantially with the aid of the vehicle lock.

Access arrangement for a vehicle

An access arrangement for a vehicle comprises a vehicle-side unlocking device for unlocking a locking mechanism. Furthermore, it comprises a vehicle-side rechargeable electrical energy storage device which is set up to supply the unlocking device with energy independently of the on-board power supply of the vehicle. Moreover, the access arrangement has a vehicle-side energy supply device comprising a first section for receiving wirelessly transmitted energy and for converting the transmitted energy into electrical energy, and a second section for charging the vehicle-side rechargeable electrical energy storage device. In particular, the access arrangement also comprises a vehicle-side authentication device for checking access authorization, which is supplied with energy independently of the on-board power supply by means of the vehicle-side rechargeable electrical energy storage device. It is therefore no longer necessary to equip a mobile identification transmitter carried by a user with the access arrangement with a mechanical key.

VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD AND SMART CAR KEY

A vehicular exterior door handle assembly includes a handle portion disposed at an exterior side of a door of a vehicle, and a printed circuit board (PCB) disposed at the handle portion. The PCB includes a near-field communication (NFC) reader that includes a microcontroller and an antenna. The antenna emits a magnetic field. The NFC reader detects disturbances in the emitted magnetic field. The NFC reader, responsive to detecting a disturbance in the emitted magnetic field from an NFC tag, adjusts operation of the NFC reader from a power-saving state of operation to an active state of operation. The NFC reader, when operating in the active state, wirelessly communicates an authentication signal to the NFC tag. The NFC reader, responsive to receiving a valid authentication response from the NFC tag, unlocks a door of the vehicle.
