Motorcycle with sensorized storage container
A motorcycle (1) including: —a supporting structure; —at least two wheels (2, 3) constrained to the supporting structure; —a traction engine (4) constrained to the supporting structure and a transmission system (5) adapted to transmit the motion from the traction engine (4) to at least one (3) of the two wheels (2, 3); —a storage container (10) fixed to the supporting structure having an internal compartment (11) and a closing device (12) movable with respect to the supporting structure between a closing position and an opening position in order to prevent the access to the internal compartment (11) in the closing position and to allow the access to the internal compartment (11) in the opening position; —an ignition key (60). The motorcycle (1) includes an electronic device (61) adapted to detect the presence or absence of the ignition key (60) inside the storage container (10).
Security system for a vehicle
The invention relates to a security system (1) for a vehicle (2), in particular for integration into the vehicle (2), for locating a mobile device (10) in a surrounding area of the vehicle (2), comprising a transceiver arrangement (100) for providing vehicle communication (FK) of the vehicle (2) with at least one other vehicle (2′) in the surrounding area, a processing arrangement (200) for performing the localization of the mobile device (10) at least partially on the basis of the vehicle communication (FK).
Systems for shared vehicle access
To utilize a shared vehicle, a user can request access to the vehicle, which results in the generation of a virtual key. The virtual key is provided to a plurality of different devices, such as a vehicle device at the vehicle, and a user device in the possession of the user. Access to the vehicle can be granted and maintained by verification of the virtual key against data from an identification device at the vehicle, or from the user device. In this way, multiple options for vehicle access are available to the user, which increases flexibility and user-friendliness.
Automobile security apparatus
The object of the present invention is to provide a convenient means for accessing a car or other automobile, and operation of the engine and other controlled functions, while making it more difficult for criminals to gain access to the car. A car security system comprises a key fob, a car transceiver system, and a security card RFID. The key fob comprises a fob PCB having a fob antenna, and a converter tab which has tab circuitry and an antenna.
Door handle, vehicle lock control system including the same, and operation method of the vehicle lock control system
A vehicle door handle including an RFID module and a button module cooperates with a vehicle controller and a remote control. The button module triggers the RFID module to transmit a querying code to the remote control upon being pressed. The remote control transmits a confirmation code and a remote ID code to the RFID module, and the RFID module determines whether the confirmation code corresponds to the querying code. If yes, the RFID module further forwards the remote ID code to the controller in order for the controller to determine whether the remote ID code is identical with a pre-stored ID code, and to control a lock actuator to switch from a locking position to an unlocking position, or vice versa, when it is determined that the remote ID code is identical with the pre-stored ID code.
VEHICLE ACCESS CARD WITH AN INTEGRATED DISPLAY
This disclosure describes a vehicle access card with an integrated display. An example vehicle access card may include a radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag configured to provide a user access to a vehicle. The example vehicle access card may also include an electronic ink display configured to display information relating to the vehicle.
Methods for Shared Vehicle Access
To utilize a shared vehicle, a user can request access to the vehicle, which results in the generation of a virtual key. The virtual key is provided to a plurality of different devices, such as a vehicle device at the vehicle, and a user device in the possession of the user. Access to the vehicle can be granted and maintained by verification of the virtual key against data from an identification device at the vehicle, or from the user device. In this way, multiple options for vehicle access are available to the user, which increases flexibility and user-friendliness.
VEHICLE ANTI-THEFT DEVICE
A vehicle anti-theft device that is operable to inhibit the operation of a keyless vehicle module wherein the present invention includes a first mode and a second mode. The present invention includes a second controller wherein the second controller is installed in a suitable location within a vehicle. The second controller is electrically coupled to the wiring harness of the vehicle wherein a circuit portion thereof is utilized to supply direct current power to the second controller. A key fob is provided wherein the key fob is operably coupled to the second controller. The key fob includes a first switch and a second switch wherein the first switch and second switch transition the present invention between the first mode and second mode. In the first mode of the present invention the second controller inhibits direct current flow to the first controller and as such renders the keyless vehicle module inoperable.
Protection Against Relay Attack for Keyless Entry Systems in Vehicles and Systems
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device in which a processing system of a remote entry system selects a first circuit from a plurality of circuits of a key remote from the device; wirelessly transmits a first challenge signal to the key, the first challenge signal specifying the first circuit; and wirelessly receives a first response signal from the key, the first response signal having a first response signal power level and a first response signal delay with respect to the first challenge signal. The processing system analyzes the first response signal by comparing the first response signal power level and the first response signal delay respectively with a predetermined first signal power and predetermined first time delay associated with the first circuit; and, in accordance with the comparing, determines whether to enable the entry system. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Automated monitoring, detection, and reporting of unauthorized movement and/or theft of vehicles and cargo
A method and an enhanced electronic logging device (ELD) enable a load lock feature of a vehicle that assists with automated theft detection, reporting, and tracking of stolen vehicles/cargo. The processor of the ELD enables the ELD to register the operator MCD to receive notifications generated by a load lock module and present on a display of the ELD at least one selectable option for activating a load lock of the vehicle, the load lock identifying that the operator has parked the vehicle and has triggered the ELD to report any movement of the vehicle that occurs while the load lock is activated. The processor generates and transmits a notification of unauthorized movement or a potential theft of the vehicle in response to receiving an input from the movement detection device indicating that the vehicle is moving or being moved from a parked location while the load lock is activated.
