SYSTEM FOR OPERATING VEHICLES AT A WORK SITE
The present disclosure relates to a control system adapted to control an operation of a first and a second vehicle operating at a work site. The present disclosure also relates to a corresponding computer implemented method and to a computer program product.
Method for unlocking vehicle door using mobile terminal
The present invention provides a method for unlocking a vehicle door using a mobile terminal. The unlocking method comprises: authenticating, by a mobile key management server, a user and a smartphone of the user; authenticating, by the mobile key management server, a vehicle having a door to be unlocked using the authenticated smartphone; generating, by the mobile key management server, a mobile key issuance algorithm corresponding to the authenticated vehicle and smartphone; issuing, by the mobile key management server, a mobile key, using the generated mobile key issuance algorithm, in response to a request from the smartphone; receiving, at the mobile key management server, the issued mobile key via the smartphone and the vehicle; confirming, by the mobile key management server, whether the issued mobile key matches the received mobile key; and requesting, by the mobile key management server, the vehicle to unlock the door thereof, when the issued mobile key matches the received mobile key.
SYSTEM, AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE
A system including: a first communication device and a second communication device, wherein the first communication device and the second communication device perform the wireless communication that conforms to first wireless communication standards, and, when one of the first communication device and the second communication device decides that information obtained by the wireless communication that conforms to the first wireless communication standards satisfies a predetermined condition, perform the wireless communication that conforms to second wireless communication standards for measuring a distance between the first communication device and the second communication device.
Remote vehicle system configuration, control, and telematics
A vehicle control system (VCS) includes external communication interfaces, such as a Bluetooth interface, for communicating with a user communication and control device, such as a smart phone or a tablet. The user is enabled to operate certain features of the vehicle, such as the remote start, power locks/trunk, climate control, and security features, through the smart phone. The VCS may also communicate with a remote server via the user's smartphone, for example, providing telematics data and receiving service reminders for display to the user on the smartphone, the VCS, or a display built into the vehicle. The VCS may be custom installed in the vehicle using the user's or the installer's smartphone, without a physical connection from the VCS to the smartphone.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING A DRIVER'S POSITION AROUND OR INSIDE A VEHICLE
Disclosed embodiments include systems, vehicles, and methods for selectively activating or deactivating systems associated with an object based on a position of a transmission source relative to the object. In an illustrative embodiment, a system includes signal sensing devices positionable around an object that are configured to detect a transmission signal from a transmission source. A control system is operably coupled with the signal sensing devices. The control system is configured to determine a position of the transmission source relative to the object, the position including an orientation relative to the object and/or a location within a perimeter of the object, based on a relative received signal strength of the transmission signal received by at least one of the signal sensing devices and to initiate operation of at least one subsystem associated with the object based on the position of the transmission source relative to the object.
SAFETY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VEHICLES AND VEHICLE USERS
The present invention relates to security systems and methods for vehicles and/or vehicle users that prevent the theft of vehicles, and/or that guarantee the security of the vehicle user. In order to achieve the above, the system of the present invention has an enabling system that controls the ignition of the vehicle, and/or a device for helmets intended for the monitoring of the security of the user, and makes it possible to determine, for example, whether the user is wearing the helmet and is using the same correctly, or whether the vehicle user has suffered an impact. Specifically, the system of the present invention has an interactive system (mobile device) associated with the user which, depending on the need, signals the enabling system to enable the vehicle ignition, provided that at least one condition is fulfilled, where a condition may be that the interactive system is close to the enabling system and/or emits an alert message to the external device of a third party if any novelty is detected in the helmet device.
Multi sensor detection, stall to stop, and lock disabling system
A multi sensor detection and disabling lock system includes detector cases for holding interchangeable detectors that sample for chemical, biological and radiological compounds, agents and elements, with each detector case disposed in or upon the monitored product. The detector case transmits detection information to a monitoring computer terminal and transmits a signal to a lock disabler engaged to the product to lock or disable the product's lock thereby preventing untrained, unauthorized and unequipped individuals from gaining access and entry to the product, and also preventing further contamination of the area. The detection system can be interconnected to surveillance towers scanning detector cases disposed at seaport docks, freight depots and rail terminals for monitoring containers being prepared for shipment or sitting on docks for long periods of time.
Transportation vehicle, electronic vehicle radio key and system for passive access to a transportation vehicle and methods therefor
A transportation vehicle having a BLUETOOTH® Low Energy (BLE) system to send and receive BLE advertising signals, BLE connection request signals and BLE data signals via at least one antenna, a central locking system to lock or unlock at least one vehicle door of the transportation vehicle, and a control unit to activate the BLE system and to activate the central locking system based on the BLE data signals. Also disclosed is an electronic vehicle radio key and a system for passive access to a transportation vehicle including a transportation vehicle, an electronic vehicle radio key and a smartphone. The system allows a user passive access to the transportation vehicle, both with the aid of the electronic vehicle radio key and with the aid of the smartphone.
LOCKING AND UNLOCKING SYSTEM AND KEY UNIT
A locking and unlocking system includes: a portable terminal; a key unit; and a locking and unlocking device of a vehicle or facilities. The portable terminal includes a first sending unit sending first authentication information to the key unit. The key unit includes: a first storage unit; a first authentication unit performing authentication based on the first authentication information; a decryption unit decrypting second authentication information when the authentication by the first authentication unit is successful; and a second sending unit sending the second authentication information to the locking and unlocking device. The locking and unlocking device includes: a second authentication unit performing authentication based on the second authentication information; and a locking and unlocking unit locking or unlocking the vehicle or the facilities when the authentication by the second authentication unit is successful.
SENSORY DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A sensory device for a motor vehicle is a system for automatically preventing the driver of a vehicle from forgetting and leaving an infant in a car seat when exiting the vehicle. The system uses the mirror of a vehicle to house many of the functions for scanning the vehicle and detecting various types of sensitive indicators that a person is still in the vehicle. A transmitter is able to transmit a signal using various methods, to receivers such as smart cell phones to alert the driver and/or other individuals either in the vehicle or otherwise, that an infant was left behind.
