Machine security system
A work machine comprising a security system for deterring theft is disclosed. The work machine comprises a frame, a battery, a ground engaging element supporting the frame; and a security system configured to activate an at least one anti-theft deterrent when an unauthorized person is detected in a detection zone around the work machine.
Construction Machine
A hydraulic excavator (1) includes a wireless authentication starting device (37) for switching conduction or non-conduction between a battery (18) and a starter motor (16) as well as a first electrical component (24) on the basis of an operation of a power switch (12) provided in the vicinity of an operator's seat (9) and authentication of a portable key (38) by wireless communication. The wireless authentication starting device (37) switches an engine stop/conduction OFF state to an engine stop/conduction ON state when, in the engine stop/conduction OFF state, the portable key (38) is within an authenticable range, the gate lock lever (13) is at an unlock position, and the power switch (12) is operated.
User management system for working vehicle
A user management system is provided for a working vehicle that can enhance the security and, at the same time, can easily manage a working situation of a user on a working vehicle. A user management system for a working vehicle performs a user management operation including user authentication based on user information that is inputted via a display part mounted on the working vehicle. The control unit determines whether or not a user identification ID inputted via the display part and registered user identification ID registered in advance agree with each other. The control unit determines whether or not an engine start button is pushed for a predetermined time or longer in a case where the user identification ID and the registered user identification ID registered in advance agree with each other, and starts an engine when the engine start button is pushed for the predetermined time or longer.
Method for locking and releasing a securing device of a vehicle coupling, theft prevention system, and vehicle
A method for locking and releasing a securing device of a vehicle coupling of a vehicle includes switching the securing device between a locked state and a released state by a control command output by an authorization unit where the authorization unit outputs the control command after receiving an initiation command transmitted to the authorization unit by an interface and where a wireless communication interface and a local physical interface are useable as the interface. Sensor data, generated by a sensor that monitors surroundings of the vehicle, is transmitted via the wireless communication interface to a control center. The initiation command is transmitted to the vehicle by the control center via the wireless communication interface as a function of the sensor data. When there is no communication connection between the control center and the vehicle, it is only possible to output the initiation command via the local physical interface.
CONSTRUCTION MACHINE AND USER LOGIN METHOD USING SAME
A construction machine according to embodiments of the present disclosure may include a manipulation device configured to receive a command or data used to control an operation of a construction machine, an output device configured to generate at least one of visual information, auditory information, and tactile information related to the operation of the construction machine, a user login device configured to identify a user as a public user, a previous user, or a specific user according to a selected login method and set the construction machine based on the identified user, a processor configured to control at least one of the user login device, a storage device, a manipulation device, and an output device, and a storage device configured to store data used by the manipulation device, the output device, the user login device, and the processor.
HAULAGE EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT
An in-cab device in a cab of a vehicle such as a class 1 or class 2 heavy goods vehicle or other vehicles receives an image. The image has been captured by a camera in the vehicle, the image depicting a driver of the vehicle. An encoding of the image is computed. Tachograph data is received from a tachograph card inserted into a tachograph in the vehicle. The encoded image and the tachograph data are sent to a service for authenticating the driver as being an owner of the tachograph card. The method comprises receiving a result from the service. In response to the result authenticating the encoded image as depicting the owner of the tachograph card, the vehicle is enabled to be driven. In response to the result not authenticating the encoded image as depicting the owner of the tachograph card, the vehicle is retained in a stationary state.
Activation system for work machine, activation method for work machine, and work machine
An activation system for a work machine includes a communication unit, a presentation unit, and a determination unit. The work machine includes a power source and an additional function unit that realizes a predetermined additional function. The communication unit receives confirmation history information indicating an operator who has confirmed a precaution related to the predetermined additional function from a server device. The a presentation unit presents the precaution. The determination unit determines whether or not to omit presentation of the precaution based on the confirmation history information.
