A multipurpose wheel-washing apparatus includes a wheel-washing unit including an upper frame provided with a plurality of rollers on which wheels of a vehicle are to be rotatably seated, and injection nozzles configured to inject high-pressure washing water onto the wheels seated on the rollers; and a lower frame provided with a water tank located below the upper frame so as to collect falling waste/turbid water; a water storage unit configured to store washing water to be supplied to the injection nozzles; a purification unit configured to receive and purify the waste/turbid water from the water tank and then send purified water to the water storage unit; and a blowing unit disposed on an exit side of the wheel-washing unit so as to blow air and provided with spray nozzles for selectively spraying water in a particulate form. Accordingly, environmental pollution can be significantly reduced.

A vehicle washing system includes a frame disposed above a vehicle treatment area, and an extendable and retractable scissor mechanism coupled to the frame. A rotatable top brush is coupled to a bottom end of the scissor mechanism, and the scissor mechanism is extendable downward to lower the top brush into engagement with a vehicle body and retractable upward to remove the brush from engagement with the vehicle body. The scissor mechanism may include a brush support flange coupled to a bottom end of the scissor mechanism. An anti-spin member may extend from the support member to the scissor mechanism to prevent bending of the scissor mechanism in response to rotating to the top brush. The anti-spin member may be in the form of a fork that slidably engages a protrusion of the scissor mechanism.

A brush construction for motor vehicle washing systems comprises a base plate (2) that supports a plurality of bristles (3) each of which has a base end (31), fixed to the plate (2), and a free end (32); the base plate (2) is suitable for being removably fixed to a rotating construction that is suitable for rotating the base plate (2) around the central axis thereof; the bristles (3) are fixed to the base plate (2) with different tilts both in radial directions, inwardly and outwardly, both in non-radial directions, clockwise and anticlockwise, with respect to the rotation direction of the base plate (2) or in any other direction that is different from the preceding directions; the bristles (3) being arranged with mutually converging and/or diverging tilt directions.

A fluid flow actuated tool including a housing, a tool and an actuating mechanism. The housing includes a housing interior. The housing interior receives a flow of fluid. The actuating mechanism includes a fluid wheel structure. The fluid wheel structure is connected to the tool. At least a portion of the fluid wheel structure is arranged in the flow of fluid for rotating the fluid wheel structure. The tool is actuated based on rotation of the fluid wheel structure.

The present application discloses a wheel cleaning device comprises a lifting rotating system, a central hole cleaning system, a cleaning system for inner rim and back cavity, a synchronous clamping drive system, an outer rim cleaning system, and a bolt hole cleaning system, etc. The device may not only separately clean the center hole, the bolt hole, the inner rim and the outer rim of the wheel, but also may regulate the position and the angle of each nozzle according to the diameter and the height of the wheel.

A tire or caterpillar track washing facility system having a grid structure which is drivable upon by the vehicle to be washed and which defines a plane. The system includes a pair of longitudinal support structures which extends parallel to the plane and defines a central axis. A plurality of washing water pipes with nozzles supported on the longitudinal support structures extend parallel to the plane and transversely to a y-direction of the central axis. An immersed wheel cleaning device is composed of a wheel feeding system, a wheel cleaning system and a wheel discharging and blowing system. Cleaning and blowing of each wheel comprise four steps: step 1, feeding and clamping; step 2, primary cleaning; step 3, secondary cleaning; and step 4, blowing and discharging. A vehicle washing system and a method for operating such a vehicle washing system in which a vehicle is scanned in a longitudinal direction by a sensor device. Measurement data are captured so that position data for the positions of vehicle wheels are determined based on an evaluation of the measurement data. The determined position data of the positions of the wheels are subjected to a confidence check, so that a confidence measure is determined. If the determined confidence measure is greater than or equal to a confidence threshold value, a treatment of the wheels is carried out in a first mode at the positions associated with the position data, and, if the determined confidence measure is smaller than the confidence threshold value, a treatment of the wheels is not carried out, or is carried out in a second mode at the positions associated with the position data.
