Surface wiper system
10384654 · 2019-08-20 · ·

A surface wiper device which includes a carrier which supports a blade. The carrier attaches to a wiper arm which urges the blade against and moves the blade across the surface of a windshield. The carrier further provides a plurality of outlets each of which communicate between a hollow passage inside the carrier and a location on the external surface of the carrier. A fluid can be delivered from a fluid source fluidicly coupled to the hollow passage of the carrier under sufficient pressure to be dispersed from the plurality of outlets onto the windshield during movement of the blade. A fluid heater can be thermally coupled with the fluid delivered from the fluid source to the plurality of outlets to increase the temperature of the fluid dispersed onto the windshield. The fluid can be sufficiently heated to generate a heated gas.

A powered tool may be improved by mounting a light thereto. Some examples of a powered tool include a polisher tool adapted to polish and/or buff a work surface. Other examples of a power tool include various rotary, orbital, reciprocating, or other types of handheld tools. In various examples, a bracket can secure a light to a polisher or buffer tool so that the work surface can be directly illuminated to improve the efficiency and comfort of the tool operator. The bracket can be repositioned on the hand tool to optimize light direction to enhance the effectiveness of the hand tool.

PRESSURE WASHER AND METHOD OF OPERATING A PRESSURE WASHER WITH ELECTRONIC PRESSURE/FLOW CONTROL AND DISPLAY
20190210074 · 2019-07-11 · ·

A pressure washer (10) includes a pump (12), a hose (14), a wand (16) and first and second nozzle configurations (18a, 18b). A control (30) is electrically coupled to an electric motor (20) for running the pump (12). The control (30) senses the level of electric current being drawn by the electric motor (20) during operation and, in response, automatically adjusts the level of electric current drawn by the electric motor (20) between at least a first level and a second, different level. This changes the rate of rotation of the motor output (20a) depending on whether the first nozzle configuration (18a) or the second nozzle configuration (18b) is coupled in fluid communication with the wand (16). An electronic display (40) is coupled to the control (30). The control (30) senses the output pressure from the pump (12) and provides an electronic indication to the user on the display (40) to show at least a relative pressure condition.

Method of cleaning underside of wheeled outdoor equipment

A method of cleaning an underside of wheeled outdoor equipment includes attaching a blower extension pipe assembly to a power blower and positioning the extension pipe across the ground and under the equipment to be cleaned. The blower extension pipe includes an elbow end fitting with a blow-off opening that is directed to the underside of the equipment. The blower is operated to direct air through the blower extension pipe and against the underlying surface of the equipment to remove debris therefrom.

A liquid cleaning system rests on a surface having a non-porous material covering and a drain. A lower plate layer and an upper plate layer each have runners arranged in a grid. The lower plate layer rests upon the surface and the upper plate layer rests upon the lower plate layer offset at an angle with respect to the grid of the lower plate layer. An upper layer covers the upper plate layer and has a plurality of holes for the passage of fluids into the liquid cleaning system. As liquid enters the liquid cleaning system through the holes, the liquid traverses the grid of the lower plate layer and the grid of the upper plate layer flowing towards the drain, and contaminants within the liquid collect within the grid of the lower plate layer and the grid of the upper plate layer.
