An exercise device is described. An exercise device includes a body, the body having a top, a bottom, a first end located at one edge of the body, a second end located at an opposite edge of the body, and first and second sides extending between the first and second ends; one or more wheels; and an energy storage device applying resistive and restoring force to the one or more wheels. Optionally, a shaft can be present that rotationally locks two or more of the wheels.

The ground-contacting apparatus may be balls of different sizes, rolling pins, or inserts with rollers, wheels, or non-rotating skateboard trucks. The inserts may have a peripheral edge that corresponds to the peripheral outline of the recess, and may be held in position using hook-and-loop fasteners, magnetic elements, or fasteners that extend through the insert and the deck.

The platforms may be provided with positioning indices and provide continuous support surfaces over substantially the entire length of the exercise machine. The central platform may be provided with finger grips for exercisers to grasp. One or more mounting platforms may be provided to facilitate mounting and dismounting of the exercise machine.

An exercise machine with multiple platforms for an exerciser to perform a variety of exercises generally includes an elongated frame structure supporting stationary first and second end platforms, a longitudinal rail extending between the end platforms and having an upper surface comprising a central platform, and a slideable carriage platform that reciprocates on the rail over the central platform and between the end platforms. The platforms provide multiple support surfaces at multiple elevations on which exercisers can position parts of their bodies during exercise. The platforms may be provided with positioning indices and provide continuous support surfaces over substantially the entire length of the exercise machine. The central platform may be provided with finger grips for exercisers to grasp. One or more mounting platforms may be provided to facilitate mounting and dismounting of the exercise machine.

A seesaw exercise device includes a rigid frame that has a pair of left and right side walls; and a seesaw base that is interposed between the two side walls facing each other, wherein a central portion of a horizontal base plate of the seesaw base is pivotally supported to the two side walls of the frame by a round shaft having a diameter larger than a thickness of the base plate itself, and when the base plate is pushed down by a user, the base plate performs a seesaw motion slowly in a front-rear direction while drawing an arc along a circumferential surface of the round shaft.

A seesaw exercise device includes a rigid frame that has a pair of left and right side walls; and a seesaw base that is interposed between the two side walls facing each other, wherein a central portion of a horizontal base plate of the seesaw base is pivotally supported to the two side walls of the frame by a round shaft having a diameter larger than a thickness of the base plate itself, and when the base plate is pushed down by a user, the base plate performs a seesaw motion slowly in a front-rear direction while drawing an arc along a circumferential surface of the round shaft.

An active sitting chair is provided that encourages a sitter/user to sit actively by requiring balance adjustments and core engagement. The active sitting chair can be efficiently produced while being relatively sturdy and lightweight. The main body may be a monocoque shell that includes a rounded lower portion that contacts the surface the chair is on and promotes wobble of the chair when a sitter is seated on the chair. The chair may also include built-in handles for ease of lifting and a seat portion at the top of the chair that may include a cushion or similar component for increasing the stability and/or comfort of a sitter.

An active sitting chair is provided that encourages a sitter/user to sit actively by requiring balance adjustments and core engagement.
