The present invention relates to a method for assisting an interviewing party in deciding a response action in response to an interview between said interviewing party and an interviewee party. The method comprises providing a processing unit and inputting the voice of the interviewee party into the processing unit as an electronic signal, and processing the electronic signal by means of said processing unit in parallel with the interview taking place. The method further includes an anomaly routine comprising a statistically learned model, and by means of said statistically learned model determining a respective number of samples of said sequence of samples being an anomaly of said statistically learned model and returning to said anomaly routine for processing a subsequent number of samples of said sequence of samples by said anomaly routine.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF AVIATION DATA COMMUNICATION ANOMALY DETECTION, AS IN AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS

Systems and methods for detecting anomalies in aviation data communication systems (e.g., air traffic control surveillance systems), include a processor receiving device status information. A variational autoencoder receives and optimizes the device status information and determines whether it qualifies as an anomaly. Optimized device status information is compared to either non-anomalous or anomalous device status data in a latent space of the variational autoencoder. The latent space preferably includes an n-D point scatter plot and hidden vector values. The processor optimizes the device status information by generating a plurality of probabilistic models of the device status information and determining which of the plurality of models is optimal. A game theoretic optimization is applied to the plurality of models, and the best model is used to generate the n-D point scatter plot in latent space. An image gradient sobel edge detector preprocesses the device status information prior to optimization.

A system may be configured to display a view of an airport moving map (AMM) depicting a location of an aircraft relative to a runway, the runway, a maximum runway overrun awareness and alerting system (ROAAS) model distance (RMD) indicator on the runway, a nominal model distance (NMD) indicator on the runway, and a ROAAS runway end indicator.

SMART SCRATCHPAD DATALINK CHICKLETS

One or more datalink labels are displayed on a shared panel of a user interface. The datalink labels are generated in response to receiving a datalink message from at least one ground station. Upon receiving a selection of the datalink label, one or more sub-panels that include information or a representation of the datalink message are displayed on the user interface. In some embodiments, the sub-panel includes a button that, when selected, automatically generates a response message. Utilizing datalink labels in conjunction with the shared panel simplifies datalink messaging and enables messaging functions to be completed on the same screen regardless of which application (or function of an application) is currently displayed on the user interface.

A method includes receiving, at a data capture device associated with a control display unit (CDU) and with a flight management computer (FMC), a first FMC data request from the CDU to the FMC and sending the first FMC data request from the data capture device to the FMC. The method also includes receiving, at the data capture device, first FMC data from the FMC responsive to the first FMC data request. The method further includes sending the first FMC data from the data capture device to the CDU via a communication interface and sending data generated based on the first FMC data from the data capture device to a portable electronic device via a wireless interface of the data capture device.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PILOT DECISION AID FOR THE AIRCRAFT PILOTING AND ASSOCIATED COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT

This decision aid method includes the following steps: acquiring (110) operating states of systems, the operating states being determined by a monitoring system; determining (120) an availability state of each operational capacity, based on the operating states of only the systems of the aircraft implementing that operational capacity, each availability state being chosen from among the group consisting of: a normal state, a downgraded state, an impacted state and a lost state; selecting (150) one or more operational capacities based on the current movement context of the aircraft; communicating (150) the availability state of each selected operational capacity to the pilot.

System and method for integrating temporal data into flight management systems

The embodiments described herein can provide systems and methods for combining traditional navigational data with temporary updates. Such a system and method can facilitate the inclusion of temporary navigational events into the navigational data made available on aircraft flight management system (FMS). For example, the systems and methods can be used to combine Aeronautical Information Regulation and Control (AIRAC) navigational data that is traditionally updated on 28 day cycles, with temporary navigational data changes, such as those typically indicated in Notices to Airmen (NOTAM). The combined navigational dataset can then be provided to the FMS.

Embodiments of the present invention provide an alternative distributed airborne transportation system. In some embodiments, a method for distributed airborne transportation includes: providing an airborne vehicle with a wing and a wing span, having capacity to carry one or more of passengers or cargo; landing of the airborne vehicle near one or more of passengers or cargo and loading at least one of passengers or cargo; taking-off and determining a flight direction for the airborne vehicle; locating at least one other airborne vehicle, which has substantially the same flight direction; and joining at least one other airborne vehicle in flight formation and forming a fleet, in which airborne vehicles fly with the same speed and direction and in which adjacent airborne vehicles are separated by distance of less than 100 wing spans.

MOVING DEVICE DETECTION
20170103658 · 2017-04-13 ·

A device moving in a space determines one or more zones around it, wherein the one or more zones are linked to the device and move together with the device through the space. The device detects if a border of a first of the one or more zones starts to intersect or stops to intersect with a border of an area inside the space. If the detecting is affirmative, the device transmits information related to the intersection. An apparatus receives this information from the device and adapts a status value of the area in dependence of the received information.
