A protective case for use with an electronic device includes a cavity for receiving the electronic device and an aperture permitting access to a touchscreen interface of the electronic device. The protective case also includes an attachment interface for attaching an accessory to a back of the protective case. The attachment interface has an insertion region having a first width and an attachment region having a second width that is smaller than the first width. The attachment region includes lips on opposing sides of the attachment region. The lips are configured to removably retain the accessory after the accessory is inserted into the insertion region of the attachment interface and moved to the attachment region of the attachment interface.

For example, an apparatus includes a support member to support a part of a portable computing device in a tilted orientation. The support member includes a secondary coil to receive power from a primary coil in the portable computing device. The apparatus also includes a base member connected to the support member. The base member includes a first wireless module to receive a first portion of the power from the secondary coil and to communicate with a second wireless module in the portable computing device. The base member also includes a keyboard to receive a second portion of the power from the secondary coil and to generate signals to transmit to the portable computing device via the first wireless module.

A portable electronic device case. The portable electronic device case includes a first panel and a second panel that are hingedly connected. A recessed area on the first panel is configured to receive an electronic device and retain it therein. An interchangeable mounting dock is removably attachable to the first panel and includes an electronic device connector configured to receive electronic devices and establish an electrical connection therewith. A charger and a battery on the first panel are each in electrical communication with the mounting dock, such that either may charge an electronic device mounted onto the mounting dock. A locking mechanism enables the first and second panel to fasten to one another. The second panel is configured to fold over and onto the first panel such that it encloses an electronic device stored within the recessed area of the first panel.

With respect to cases for laptop computers, and the like and, an improvement comprises pair of opposing strap guides through which elastic side retention straps are respectively journaled to prevent the straps from interfering with the closure of the case. A case according to the invention comprises top and bottom covers hinged in the rear of the case, and a closure mechanism such as a zipper is for closing the top and bottom covers. Right and left elastic retaining straps respectively connect the top and bottom portions of the case, and the right and left elastic retaining straps pass through respective strap guides, each attached to the inner surface of the top portion of the case, to prevent the retaining straps from being caught in the hinged portions of the computer or the closure mechanism as the case is closed. Each elastic retaining strap may twist between the bottom cover of the case and each strap guide.

A foldable display device includes a shell. The shell has an expanding state and a folding state. A first direction and a second direction are defined to be orthogonal. When the shell is at the expanding state, the shell has a first length L1 along the first direction and a second length L2 along the second direction. The ratio of the first length L1 to the second length L2 is between 1.3 and 2. When the shell is at the folding state, the shell has a third length L3 along the second direction and a fourth length L4 along the first direction. The ratio of the third length L3 to the fourth length L4 is also between 1.3 and 2.

Cradle-case combination with magnetic fastener feature

A cradle-case combination enables its user to selectively display and or encase an electronic device, and together includes a cradle construction and a case construction. The cradle construction is sized and shaped to removably cradle a select or particular electronic device. The cradle construction has an anterior device-receiving cradle portion and a posterior cradle-to-case interface portion. The cradle-to-case interface portion includes a magnetically attractive first material. The case construction has anterior and posterior case portions, and at least the posterior case portion has a magnetically attractive second material. The first and second magnetically attractive materials enable the user to magnetically fasten the cradle to the case. The anterior case portion is pivotal relative to the posterior case portion for selectively accessing the device-receiving cradle portion in an open case configuration and/or covering the device-receiving cradle portion in a closed case configuration.

PROTECTIVE ENCLOSURE FOR AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE

A protective enclosure for use with an electronic device includes a bottom shell, a first cushioning member, and a second cushioning member. The bottom shell includes a back portion and walls attached to the back portion to form a cavity for receiving and removably retaining the electronic device. The bottom shell also includes an aperture configured to provide direct access to the touch screen of the installed electronic device. The first cushioning layer is overmolded onto at least the inner surface of the of back portion of the bottom shell and configured to contact and cushion at least a back surface of the installed electronic device. The second cushioning layer is separate from the first cushioning layer and includes a perimeter cushioning member overmolded onto at least a portion of the walls of the bottom shell.

The mobile phone car mount comprises: a mobile phone shell, a securing portion, a rotating portion and a holding portion; wherein a back of the mobile phone shell comprises a metal portion; a front end of the securing portion is provided with a magnet, the magnet being in magnetic-snap to the metal portion; a rear end of the securing portion is secured to a rotation side of the rotating portion; a back of a securing side of the rotating portion is coupled to a rear end of the holding portion, a top portion of the securing side is provided with a press switch; and the press switching driving the holding portion to open or close. The technical solution according to the present invention has the advantage of bettering user experience.
