11524662 · 2022-12-13 · ·

Systems and methods for manipulating the pitch and/or tilt of a trailer relative to a supporting surface. A trailer leveling system includes one or more telescopically adjustable support assemblies that are constructed to be pivotably connected to a frame of a trailer. Each support assembly includes a post that is pivotably connected to a trailer frame. A rack is formed along at least one side of the post. A tube slideably cooperates with the post and supports a pawl that cooperates with the rack to allow translation of the tube relative to the post in a first direction and selectively prevent translation of the tube relative to the post in the opposing direction.

SWIVEL LEVELER WITH SPACER

The invention comprises a seating plate including a concentric swivel leveler to be used for leveling a trailer on an uneven ground surface by inserting a connected trailer jack into the swivel and establishing a stationary position wherein the trailer is substantially level. In certain embodiments, a spacer is also provided with a receiving well for the swivel such that a height of the seating plate above the ground surface is increased such that the trailer jack need not be extended as far as it would but for the spacer. A spacer may be of durable material and includes reinforcing support members help support large loads. In certain embodiments, the swivel may be fastened to the spacer using nuts, bolts and the like so the swivel may swivel about the receiving well while the seating plate maintains a height above the space top to allow for the swiveling action.

A vehicle leveling device for ensuring that a vehicle is level for calibration of sensors that are installed on the vehicle is presented. A lifting jack is placed under each of the vehicle's wheels and a mounting clamp is mounted to each wheel. Each mounting clamp has a sizing frame having two ends, a clamping member slidably mounted upon each end of the sizing frame and a pair of pivotally mounted engagement hooks. A support member mounted central to the sizing frame that supports an indicator that allows a level reading to be taken. The lifting jacks may be actuated under each of the vehicle's wheels as needed the ever level indicator reads the same indicating that each wheel is coplanar and the vehicle is level.

Mounting Mechanism To Enable Hitching A Tool With The Frame Of A Utility Vehicle

A mounting mechanism (100), to enable hitching a tool (101) with the frame of a utility vehicle, comprises front hooks (102), a locking mechanism (104), a lifting cradle assembly (106), and a frame attachment mechanism (108). The front hooks (102) and the locking mechanism is configured to detachably engage the front and the rear portion of the tool (101) respectively. The cradle assembly (106) is configured to be operatively engaged with the front hooks (102) and the locking mechanism (104). The frame attachment mechanism (108) is configured to be pivotally coupled to the lifting cradle assembly (106). The locking mechanism (104) is configured to be operated by lifting the cradle assembly (106) via pivotal motion between the cradle and the frame attachment mechanism (108) under force generated by the vehicle (1000) to hitch and lock the tool (101) with the frame of the vehicle (1000).

MULTISTAGE LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR WITH SLIP-CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

A landing gear system including a landing gear actuator assembly arranged to selectably provide an increased torque output to a cross-shaft adaptor rotationally coupled to a cross-shaft of a trailer landing gear assembly. A rotational engagement mechanism is arranged to, in response to a remote signal, shift a rotational engagement mechanism to selectably couple the cross-shaft adaptor with a light gear set or selectably couple the cross-shaft adaptor with a heavy gear set. The landing gear actuator includes a slip-clutch assembly to dampen, reduce, or eliminate rotational shock caused when retracting or extending the legs of the landing gear system.

Leveraged trailer lift

This disclosure teaches a device and a system having a gear reduction ratio for use with power tools to mechanically connect to drive shafts of trailer jacks. The device enables the power tools to extend or retract the legs of the trailer jacks in an efficient and easy manner. The device may be installed or retrofitted to existing high capacity trailers or integrated with newly manufactured trailers. In some embodiments, the device has a first interface, a gear train or an equivalent torque magnification mechanism, and a second interface. The first interface enables a power tool or a hand tool to rotationally engage the gear train. The second interface enables the output torque from the gear train to apply to rotate a shaft to raise and/or lower one or more trailer jacks. A power drill can thus couple with the first interface to lift or lower the trailer.
