Truck-mounted brake system
A truck mounted braking system is provided with a mechanical pivot adjustment on a lever connected to the brake actuator to permit the braking force applied to the wheels to vary depending on the lading condition of the car, without involving additional pneumatic elements such as a pneumatic empty load device. The system adjusts the braking force applied when the hand brake is activated, even when the railway car is disconnected from the pneumatic brake line.
RETROFITTABLE FLOATING BRAKE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A RETROFITTABLE FLOATING BRAKE SYSTEM
A vehicle brake system operable to simultaneously apply an equal amount of braking pressure to a plurality of tires. The system includes a pair of brake guides, a brake bar secured to the brake guides, and a control bar secured to the brake bar. The control bar is operable to move the brake bar back and forth so that a portion of the brake bar selectively abuts the plurality of tires to apply the braking pressure. The system may be retrofitted to existing vehicles or fitted to new vehicles.

EXERCISE MACHINE
An exercise machine has a mobile base and an upright support extending upwards from the mobile base. An upper support assembly extends forward from an upper portion of the upright support and an exercise device is suspended from the upper support assembly at a location spaced forward from the upright support. The exercise machine may include a compact and safe counterbalancing gas spring mechanism that tends to move the exercise device away from the exerciser, and that requires a force to be applied to move an exercise device down towards the exerciser. The exercise machine may include an exercise device that is rotatable along a vertical axis, and may be coupled to an adjustable monitor for a wide range of uses. The exercise machine may be used by a exerciser lying supine, sitting in a chair or wheelchair, or standing in front of or adjacent the exercise machine.
Tire engaging parking brake
A tire engaging brake for use with a vehicle having a vehicle frame supporting a tire from a suspension includes a base securable to the vehicle frame, a brake pad mounting arm pivotally connected to the base, and a brake pad connected to the brake pad mounting arm. An over-center linkage has an inner link pivotally connected at an inner end to the base at a position spaced from the pivotal connection of the brake pad mounting arm to the base. An outer link of the over-center linkage is pivotally connected at an inner end to the inner link and is pivotally connected at an outer end to the brake pad mounting arm. A lever arm is cooperable with the inner link for pivoting the inner link, the outer link and the brake pad mounting arm between a retracted position and a tire engaging position in which the inner link and the outer link extend in an over-center condition.

Vehicle wheel stopper
Provided is a vehicle wheel stopper. The vehicle wheel stopper includes a bracket, clamping jaws and a telescoping rod assembly. The clamping jaws include a first clamping jaw and a second clamping jaw. Both the first clamping jaw and the second clamping jaw are pivotally connected to the bracket. The telescoping rod assembly includes a telescoping rod set and a gear set. The gear set drives the telescoping rod set to rotate around an axis of the telescoping rod set, and the telescoping rod set simultaneously drives the first clamping jaw and the second clamping jaw so that the first clamping jaw and the second clamping jaw separately have a first state of simultaneously clamping the two spaced wheels and a second state of simultaneously loosening the two spaced wheels. In this device, the wrench rotates the gear set within a range of 360? to further drive the support rod.
Brake assembly for a height-adjustable walker apparatus
A brake assembly for a height-adjustable walker apparatus is provided. The brake assembly includes a brake actuator, a wheel-engaging brake member and a brake cable assembly. The brake cable assembly includes a flexible, inner cable. The brake cable assembly includes a flexible, outer casing through which the inner cable extends and is moveable relative to. The inner cable has a first end coupled to the brake actuator and a second end coupled to the wheel-engaging brake member. The brake assembly includes a brake cable housing shaped to enclose a slack portion of the brake cable assembly.

TIPPING PREVENTION UNIT, FEEDING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A tipping prevention unit that prevents tipping of an image forming apparatus includes shafts holding a wheel of the image forming apparatus, a shaft that abuts the image forming apparatus at a position higher than the shafts, and a shaft that contacts a floor surface on which the image forming apparatus is placed at a position further protruding to the outside of the image forming apparatus than the wheel of the image forming apparatus.
