A brake device includes: a first pressurizing unit configured to increase a WC pressure by supplying brake fluid into wheel cylinders provided in wheels RL and RR; a second pressurizing unit connected to a reservoir tank via a fourth flow passage and configured to increase the WC pressure by supplying the brake fluid taken in from the reservoir tank into the wheel cylinders; and a brake control unit configured to control at least one of the first pressurizing unit and the second pressurizing unit based on a target WC pressure. The brake control unit is configured to, when the WC pressure is to be increased by operating the second pressurizing unit, execute an auxiliary brake control in which the first pressurizing unit is operated to assist the second pressurizing unit to increase the WC pressure.

Efficient and robust methodology for traction control system
A vehicle includes a system and method of modeling and controlling a traction of a wheel of the vehicle. The system includes an observer, a predictive controller and an online solver. The observer receives a dynamic model parameter of the wheel and determines an estimate of a wheel velocity and an uncertainty in the wheel velocity using a non-linear model of the wheel. The predictive controller determines an average gain and differential gain from the estimate of the wheel velocity and the uncertainty in the wheel velocity. The online solver calculates a motor torque and a wheel brake torque for increasing the traction of the wheel with a road based on the average gain and the differential gain. The motor torque and the wheel brake torque are applied at the vehicle.
METHOD AND CONTROLLER FOR CONTROLLING SLIP OF AT LEAST ONE WHEEL OF A VEHICLE
A method for controlling slip of at least one wheel of a vehicle. In the method, at least one parameter of an action to be performed is read out from a matrix using a slip state of the wheel if the slip state is outside a target slip region of the matrix, wherein, for reading this out, a data field of the matrix associated with the slip state is determined and the at least one parameter is read out from the data field, wherein, for performing the action, at least one actuator of the vehicle is actuated using the parameter.

A method for controlling slip of at least one wheel of a vehicle. The disclosure is directed to a method for slip control of a vehicle wheel driven via an electric drive. The method including at least the following steps: driving the electric drive of the vehicle wheel using an actual drive torque in a torque control in a torque control step, determining a wheel speed and a wheel slip of the vehicle wheel and evaluating the wheel slip by way of an instability criterion as to whether an instability exists, upon recognizing an instability, direct or indirect transition in a slip control of the wheel slip to a setpoint slip by driving the electric drive, determining whether an end criterion for ending the slip control is satisfied; and, if the end criterion is satisfied, returning to the torque control in the torque control step.
METHOD AND CONTROL DEVICE FOR SETTING A WORKING POINT OF A SLIP CONTROLLER FOR A WHEEL OF A VEHICLE
A method for setting a working point of a slip controller for a wheel of a vehicle. Upon activating the slip controller, a torque at the wheel is controlled on the basis of the working point using a slip at the wheel, wherein the torque is monitored and a value of the working point is set to a previous value of the torque if the slip satisfies a condition.

An electronic control unit has a processor circuit that is constructed and arranged, during a launch mode of the vehicle, to control the pressure-providing device to cause fluid from the wheel brakes to be directed to the pressure chamber so as to release the pressure medium from the wheel brakes, permitting launch of the vehicle.
