VEHICLE CRANE HAVING HYDROPNEUMATIC SUSPENSION AND A BRAKING SYSTEM COMPRISING AT LEAST TWO BRAKING CIRCUITS
A vehicle crane having a hydropneumatic suspension and a braking system including wheel brakes and a first braking circuit assigned to the wheel brakes of at least one vehicle axle and a second braking circuit assigned to the wheel brakes of at least one other vehicle axle. In order to adapt the actuation of the braking system to the weight state, the hydropneumatic suspension is coupled to an automatically load-dependent braking force regulator that is operatively connected to one of the braking circuits or to one of their braking circuit sections such that, on the basis of a weight state signal of the vehicle crane generated from the hydropneumatic suspension, a braking pressure generated inside the braking circuit or braking circuit section coupled to the automatically load-dependent braking force regulator, can be varied with respect to a braking pressure generated simultaneously inside the other braking circuit or braking circuit section.

Axle sensor mounting
A vehicle weight sensing system is particularly useful for trailers. An axle tube is mounted to the vehicle or trailer through its suspension members that may be leaf springs. A mounting block is affixed to the axle tube for mounting a strain gauge. The mounting block is fixed to the axle tube between the suspension members connected to the axle tube. The mounting block has a mounting surface opposite to the mating surface and a notch extends from the mating surface toward the mounting surface. The notch terminates between the mating surface and the mounting surface. The notch separates rigidified sections of the mounting block and the rigidified sections straddle the notch. The stain gauge measures strain in the axle and thereby generates a signal proportional to the weight on the trailer. The signal can be used to properly proportion a brake system on the trailer.
AUTOBRAKE INITIALIZATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An autobrake brake control system includes a shutoff valve configured to receive a hydraulic fluid, a servo valve configured to receive the hydraulic fluid from the shutoff valve and configured to provide the hydraulic fluid to apply braking force to a wheel via a hydraulic line, and a brake control unit in electronic communication with the shutoff valve. The brake control unit is configured to detect a weight-on-wheel (WOW) condition of a nose landing gear, and the brake control unit controls the shutoff valve in response to detecting the WOW condition of the nose landing gear.
BRAKING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
Methods, devices, and systems for communicating a brake pedal input to a brake without a physical connection through a firewall of a vehicle is provided. The position of the pedal is detected and electronically communicated to a control unit that causes the brake to slow the rotation of a wheel and inhibit the movement of a vehicle. In addition, the driver can select a pedal force profile to provide a preferred pedal feel for the driver. The brake system and the control unit can also compensate for additional loads in or attached to the vehicle such as a trailer. For example, the control unit cases the brake to activate with an increased force so the vehicle slows at the same rate and with the same pedal feel for the driver, even with an additional load. Further features and details are described herein.

BRAKE DEVICE AND VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
Provided is a brake device capable of stabilizing a deceleration at the time of starting braking. The brake device is configured to correct a distribution of a braking force to each wheel or a braking force for each wheel, based on a detection value obtained by a load position distribution detection unit configured to detect a position distribution of a load applied to the vehicle when the vehicle is stopped or is in an initial period of starting.
BRAKING SYSTEM
A system for braking a trailer towed by a tow vehicle. The system includes a signalling means for generating an electrical signal based on an action applied by a driver to a brake operating unit. Further, the system includes means for determining weight of the trailer and a brake control unit. Yet further, the system includes a communication means for providing the electrical signal from the signalling means to the brake control unit. The brake control unit being configured to use the determined weight of the trailer to obtain a gain value, calculate a braking power signal value using the electrical signal and the gain value and provide a braking power control signal to an electric braking unit of a wheel of the trailer, based on the braking power signal value.
Thrust bearing for vehicle
A thrust bearing for a vehicle includes an upper case that abuts against a vehicle body-side attaching portion and a lower case on which the upper case is provided so that the lower case is rotatable with respect to the upper case about an axial center AX of a piston rod used in a shock absorber of a suspension of the vehicle, characterized in that the thrust bearing further includes a load sensor for measuring a load vertically acting on the suspension.
