Dolly
According to a first aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a dolly featuring at least one wheel, an auto-engaging brake, and a release mechanism for selectively manipulating the auto-engaging brake from an applied state to a released state. The dolly further includes a tow bar which is connected to the release mechanism for operating the auto-engaging brake between the applied and released state.
Cable adjusting unit
A cable adjusting unit includes a first member, a second member and an actuator. The second member is movably arranged with respect to the first member. The actuator is operatively coupled to at least one of the first member and the second member. The actuator is arranged to relatively move the first member with respect to the second member.
MACHINE SUSPENSION SYSTEM
An embodiment relates to a machine including a prime mover, a drive pulley, a chassis, a subframe, a drive device, a drive belt, and a pulley arrangement. The drive pulley is coupled to the prime mover. The chassis is configured to support at least an operator and the prime mover. The subframe is pivotally coupled to the chassis about a pivot axis. The subframe is further coupled to the chassis via a suspension device. The drive device is configured to drive wheels of the machine. The drive device is configured to be driven by the prime mover. The pulley arrangement is configured to direct the drive belt from the drive pulley to a driven pulley on the drive device. The pulley arrangement comprises at least one idler pulley having a diameter and a rotational axis.
Termination assembly
The invention relates to an umbilical termination assembly for terminating a cable or umbilical. The termination assembly comprises a plurality of umbilical elements extending from an umbilical and which pass through a bulkhead plate. The seated ball element has a spherical body through which an umbilical element passes. The ball element is seated in a cup member which allows the ball element to rotate through a large range of angles allowing it to be aligned with the umbilical element without the umbilical element needing to be manipulated or forced into position. The umbilical element can then be attached to the ball element which is supported by the cup member on the bulkhead. This allows the axial tension in the umbilical element to be transferred to the bulkhead.
Parking lever switch and operating method thereof
A parking lever switch may include a spring supporter; a switch input and output terminal, which can contact the spring supporter; an elastic spring supporting the spring supporter; a cable rod connected with the spring supporter; and a cable guide that guides the cable rod. The switch is energized when the force applied to the spring supporter connected with the cable rod is equal to or greater than the value obtained by multiplying a spring constant k of the elastic spring by a displacement.
Electronic parachute deployment system
An electronic parachute deployment system including an electronic actuator, a control module, a deployment actuator, and a release mechanism. A parachute is positioned on a payload device, such as a racecar, to slow or stop the payload upon receipt of an electronic deployment activation signal. The electronic deployment signal is verified, including determining proper voltage and source. The deployment system includes multiple redundancies including mechanical deployment redundancy, remote deployment redundancy, and power supply redundancy. The control module responsible for monitoring deployment includes indicators and sensors to indicate a status, operation, or mode relative to the operability of the payload device, relative to components of the release mechanism, and relative to the parachute deployment.
Hidden braking device
A hidden braking device includes a brake handle, a brake member controlling a wheel set, and a connecting member disposed in a main frame having telescoping upper and lower frames. The connecting member has an upper stem connected to the brake handle and having fixing notches, a lower stem connected to the brake member, a locking set disposed on the lower frame and mainly including a locking unit, and an adjusting set connected to both stems. The adjusting set mainly has an operating unit on which a first spring unit is disposed, an engaging case and a positioning case disposed relative to each other, and an elastic unit located between both cases and engaged with the fixing notches. The first spring unit pushes the operating unit while loosening the locking unit to thereby position the engaging case and adjust a full length of the main frame quickly.
Cable-coupled by-wire control system
A cable-coupled by-wire control of a vehicle control function traditionally activated by driver manipulation of a pedal is achieved though the agency of a Bowden cable having a first end fastened to the driver pedal, and a second end coupled to a by-wire actuator. The by-wire actuator has a pulley on which the second end of the cable is fastened, an electric motor coupled to the pulley to permit by-wire activation of the vehicle control function by rotation of the pulley in a direction to pull on the pedal with the cable. A relief chamber of the actuator radially outboard of the pulley accommodates slack in the cable within the actuator caused by driver manipulation of the pedal during by-wire activation of the control function.
Brake assembly for height-adjustable patient transport apparatus
A patient transport apparatus includes a height-adjustable assembly having a longitudinal axis. The apparatus includes a brake cable. The brake cable includes an elongate portion extending along the height-adjustable assembly and includes a slack portion. The apparatus includes a brake cable housing coupled to and axially offset from the height-adjustable assembly. The slack portion of the brake cable is enclosed within a hollow interior of the brake cable housing.
Park release apparatus and method of use
A park release apparatus for shifting a transmission of a vehicle having an engine from park to neutral with the engine not running via a park release lever of the transmission, the apparatus including a transmission assembly configured for being selectively installed on the transmission spaced from the park release lever, a handle assembly, a cable assembly having a slidable cable operably connecting the transmission assembly and the handle assembly, and a release bracket coupled to the cable in the vicinity of the transmission assembly and configured for selectively engaging the park release lever.
