SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS INCLUDING A SPINAL RESISTANCE ASSEMBLY
Systems, devices, and methods are described for providing, among other things, a neck and spine strengthening device. In an embodiment, the neck strengthening device includes a spinal resistance assembly including at least one resistance component configured to apply a resist force or to resist rotation about a first axis. In an embodiment, the spinal resistance assembly permits lateral neck rotation of a user about the first axis while substantially limiting flexional and extensional movement. In an embodiment, the neck strengthening device includes a device securing assembly configured to physically anchor the device to an anchoring structure. In an embodiment, the neck strengthening device includes a head affixing assembly configured to secure to a head of a user during use. In an embodiment, the strengthening device is instrumented with sensors and an embedded computing system to securely exchange exercise performance and configuration data with local client devices and monitor and record exercise activity and exercise performance data to remote, internet connected serves.
Exercise device
An exercise device has a pair of handles with a resistance assembly connected therebetween. Each handle has an internal annular channel with a stop wall. Each channel receives a grip body and a grip spring that serially abut one another, with the grip spring disposed between the grip body and the stop wall. In use, a user rotates each handle to compress the grip springs and applies tension by bending the resistance assembly. As a result, exercise of the six primary muscle groups responsible for postural stability muscles is provided to the user. Each of the handles are also easily removable from the resistance assembly by way of spring loaded plungers, which allows for different resistance assemblies of different spring force or resistance. The handles are further connected in a nonaligned manner relative to the resistance assembly, which contributes to maximizing the exercising benefits received from the exercise device.
Neck strengthening apparatus
The present invention discloses a neck strengthening apparatus adaptable to provide physical conditioning and therapeutic benefits. The neck strengthening apparatus comprises a headgear that employing a weight member to provide a predetermined mechanical load to user's neck and spine. The headgear with weight member could be used to exercise the neck as well as to reduce the incidents and severity of concussions and other injuries. Various fastener members are used to detachably fasten the weight member to the anterior or forehead area of the headgear. The weight member could be fastened at a temporo-mandibular joint (TMJ) of the headgear. The neck strengthening apparatus can effectively strengthening and conditioning the user's neck muscles. The apparatus is configured to target on the neck muscles effectively during exercises and in practice sessions.

Exercise device for neck and upper body
An exercise device (200) which a user (220) communicates with a base unit (260) whose shape comprises of a first arm projection (340) that ends with a first end (380) located along a radiating line from the base unit (260), and comprises of a second arm projection (440) that ends with a second end (420) ending somewhat away from the base unit (260) in a shape that contacts the user's head, whereby upon the urging of the user of the first end (380) produces at the second end (420) a force onto the user when the second end (420) is at least in contact with the user's head.

Shoulder supported apparatus for toning and strengthening the neck, chin and face
An apparatus for toning and strengthening the muscles of the neck, chin and face that is supported on one or more of the user's shoulders during use of the apparatus. The apparatus has a frame with frame members that define a shoulder supporting section configured to position an elastomeric sheet adjacent the user's head during use of the apparatus. The frame members also define a sheet support section that holds the elastomeric sheet on the frame. A positioning guide associated with the frame helps position the apparatus on the user. An adjusting mechanism allows the user to rotate the elastomeric sheet to increase or decrease its tension to increase or decrease the resistance from the user pressing his or her head against the elastomeric sheet. A locking mechanism prevents unwanted rotation of the elastomeric sheet. Clamps or other mechanisms removably attach the elastomeric sheet to the frame.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR EXERCISE OR ANALYSIS OF THE NECK REGION
Provided herein are devices and methods for analysis and/or exercise of a body region of a subject. Such devices may include a guide arm supported by a support frame; a receiving surface supported by the guide arm, the receiving surface for receiving input force from the subject; and a motor assembly in communication with the guide arm, the motor assembly controlling movement of the receiving surface based on received input force. Exercise and/or analysis methods described herein may include steps of instructing the subject to apply an input force to a receiving surface; sensing the applied input force over time; and controlling movement of the receiving surface based on the received input force using a motor assembly, whereby the motor assembly moves the receiving surface in a pre-determined direction, so long as the input force remains within an allowable tolerance, until a pre-set end position is reached.
