BI-DIRECTIONAL EXERCISE MACHINES
A bi-directional exercise machine has a work arm, first and second cams coupled to the work arm, a resistance mechanism, and a pulley assembly that couples the resistance mechanism to the work arm via the first and second cams so that movement of the work arm is resisted by the resistance mechanism according to first and second resistance profiles provided by the first and second cams, respectfully. A primary pulley cable has a first end coupled to the first cam and a second end coupled to the second cam. When the work arm is in a rest position, the ends of the primary pulley cable extend from cable tracks of the cams, respectively, at a tangent so that the resistance mechanism applies a resistance force on the work arm via the pulley assembly immediately upon movement of the work arm out of the rest position.

Training apparatus
A training apparatus includes a fixed frame, a training rod, a motor, rotation information detection sensor, tilt angle and position difference calculation units, determination, motor drive and position difference eliminating units. The training rod is supported by the fixed frame in a manner capable of being tilted by a motor about at least an X-axis or a Y-axis so as to hold the limb. The tilt angle calculation unit calculates a tilt angle of the training rod. The position difference calculation unit calculates a position difference. The determination unit obtains the position difference every time when a second time period elapses. If the position difference generated in the second time period is a first threshold or lower, the motor drive unit drives the motor so that the position difference is accumulated and maintained. The position difference eliminating unit resets the position difference at a predetermined timing.
SELF-SUPPORTING MUSCULAR TRAINING APPARATUS CONVERTIBLE BETWEEN A STORAGE POSITION AND A WORKING POSITION
A muscular training apparatus to present muscular training accessories. The muscular training apparatus has a bottom part including a central panel and two lateral panels on each side of the central panel. The two lateral panels are installed free to pivot about the central panel. The apparatus can be converted between at least one working position and one storage position. In a working position, the lateral panels are unfolded at the sides of the central panel to form a self-supporting structure. In the storage position, the lateral panels are folded adjacent to the central panel. The bottom part further includes a locking element to secure the self-supporting structure in the working position of the apparatus.
Resistance Type Exercise Device for Conditioning
An exercise device accommodating leg thrust exercises is shown and described. The device provides a flat, nominally planar base or frame on which are mounted two slide members riding in parallel, linear tracks. Each slide is coupled to the frame by an elastic tether. A hand grip bar spans right and left sides of the frame at one end thereof. In use, a person grasps the hand grip bar, and places each foot on one of the slide members. The user then pushes with either one leg or alternatively, with both legs, against the resistance of the elastic tether.
Rehabilitation device
A device for rehabilitating patients especially with peripheral nervous system paralysis. The rehabilitation device comprising a remote control terminal, a base, an arm mounted to a column with adjustable height containing an motor propelling the arm and at least two electrodes of the electromyography (EMG) sensor according to the disclosure is characterized in that the actuator (7) enables the extension (4) to move within the angular range of 360°, while the EMG signal from the sensor connected to the muscle or muscles of the patient is transmitted to the network of the motor controlling module (2) and then further by radio or cable connection to a remote control terminal (1).
REHABILITATION TRAINING APPARATUS
Disclosed is a rehabilitation training apparatus including a pair of first tracks that are arranged in parallel at an interval, a second track that is perpendicular to the pair of first tracks and is movably connected to the pair of first tracks, a hand holder that is movably provided in the second track and on which a hand of the user is held, a holder driving unit that reciprocally moves the hand holder along the second track, and a track driving unit that reciprocally moves the second track along the pair of first tracks.
ORTHOPEDIC REHABILITATION DEVICE
An orthopedic rehabilitation device is provided having a base assembly. A mast assembly extends from the base assembly. A handle assembly is rotatably coupled to the mast assembly. A foot bracket assembly is rotatably coupled to the mast assembly. The foot bracket assembly is coupled to the handle assembly so that rotation of one of the handle assembly or the foot bracket assembly results in the rotation of the other of the handle assembly and the foot bracket assembly. A foot support assembly is coupled to the foot bracket assembly so that the foot support assembly rotates with the foot bracket assembly.
Climbing exercise apparatus
A climbing exercise apparatus having ipsilateral and contralateral modes of operation may include a frame supporting movable generally vertically oriented members. The vertically oriented members may include arm and foot support members rotatably connected to carriage members movably supported on the frame. The climbing exercise apparatus may include three-dimensional movement capabilities for a user's arms and feet to move through three dimensional paths of motion during an exercise activity.
