COLLAPSIBLE EXERCISE MACHINE
A collapsible exercise machine includes a stationary base, a moving member, and a supporting frame. The stationary base includes a pivotally connecting portion and a first supporting portion. The moving member is pivotally connected to the pivotally connecting portion of the stationary base, can be pivoted to an extended position and a collapsed position with respect to the stationary base, and includes a second supporting portion. The supporting frame includes a third supporting portion, is fixedly connected to the stationary base, and lies under the pivotally connecting portion. When in the extended position, the stationary base and the moving member are supported by the third supporting portion as well as the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion.
MULTIFACETED EXERCISE SYSTEM
A multifaceted exercise system is provided having several components, each capable of performing a different exercise. A vest worn by the exerciser has front segment and back segment, each segment having spaced apart O-rings and resistance bands secured by each O-ring adapted to be forced forward and laterally in order to exercise the chest. The back segment of the vest is provided with a panel member having roller receiving cavities each having fitted with a roller for performing a squatting exercise by moving the back panel member up and down a flat surface such as a wall. The back segment of the exercise device is also provided with a left O-ring and a right O-ring, a left resistance band having its upper end secured to the left O-ring and its lower end secured to the left foot, and a right resistance band having its upper end secured to the right O-ring and its lower end secured to the right foot. The exerciser can conduct abdominal exercises by removing the panel member from the back of the vest, placing it on a flat surface, and pushing and pulling the panel member using the hands of the exerciser.
Physical therapy device for aiding in joint mobility and recovery
A physical therapy device includes a brace to secure around an appendage of a person; a first locking device connected to a portion of the brace via a rivet joint, the first locking device having a gear; a pawl positioned to engage with the gear; a spring connected to the pawl to provide tension to the pawl; and a lock to release the pawl from the toothed gear; the first locking device is positioned next to a joint of the appendage when worn; the first locking device allows for single direction movement of the joint; and the first locking device is to release the joint via the lock.
Interchangeable grip and pinch strength assessor and exerciser
A hand strength appliance is provided that may be used in multiple or selected configurations for grip and pinch strength assessment as well as grip and pinch exercises. The appliance includes a frame and a sliding internal handle fitted within and slidable within the frame, and may be positioned for multiple test positions and exercises. The appliance may include and be used with a force sensing device that may transmit information to a computing device.
DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT MOVEMENTS BY SHIFTING THE CENTER OF GRAVITY AND/OR ACTUATING MUSCLES OF A HUMAN BODY
A device is used for carrying out movements by shifting the center of gravity and/or actuating muscles of a human body. A user lies on the device and shifts the center of gravity by moving his or her hip region in order to incline a movable part of the device including the user's own body in different directions. Furthermore, the user wears video goggles or the like during the process and can move in a virtual environment using the overall system, which includes the video goggles and the movement device and can interact with these. The movements caused by the user can be generated solely using gravity by shifting the center of gravity. Additionally, the movements of the device are influenced by motors or dampers arranged in or on the device.
Gait Pattern Training Device
A gait trainer adapted for use with a treadmill and, optionally, a spinning cycle, provides greater accessibility for therapeutic and rehabilitative gait pattern training to individuals confronting injury, illness, or disability. The gait trainer is adjustable, to accommodate a wide variety of users with different stride lengths and needs.
EXERCISE DEVICE WITH ELLIPTICAL STEPPING MOTION
An exercise device includes a frame and a crank assembly. A pair of foot links each has a forward end, a rearward end, and a mid-portion. Each foot link has a crank attachment at the forward end that is connected the crank assembly. A foot receiving area is defined at the rearward end of each foot link. Each foot receiving area is longitudinally fixed with respect to the respective foot link and the mid portion of each foot link has a defined support location. The frame supports the support locations of the support links at a generally constant vertical height while allowing horizontal motion relative to the frame. The rearward length of the foot links is at least 1.5 times the forward length such that the foot receiving areas move in a path of travel having more vertical travel than horizontal travel.
Exercise apparatus
Muscle resistance apparatus comprising a framework, at least one resistive force and a movable section. The movable section is linked to a resistive force, wherein a first part of the movable section is attached to the framework by a connection whereby it can be temporarily displaced, and a second part of the movable section is connected to the first part of the movable section by a second connection whereby it can be temporarily displaced. The first and second parts of the movable section are independently movable with respect to one another in an angular and/or linear fashion.

Compression and decompression control system and vascular strengthening method
Provided are a method for strengthening blood vessels with extreme ease and a compression and decompression control system used for performing the method. A compression and decompression control system 1 includes a band adapted to be placed around a particular part of a limb of a user and to apply a compression force to the particular part and a controller for controlling the compression force applied to the particular part with the band. The controller controls the compression force applied with the band in a manner that a compression operation applying a predetermined compression force to the particular part and a decompression operation completely removing the compression force applied to the particular part by the compression operation are alternately repeated. Repetition of the compression operation and the decompression operation allows the vascular endothelial cells of blood vessels of the user to generate a larger amount of nitric oxide, thereby strengthening the blood vessels.
