A rehabilitation apparatus for deep myofascial release and stretching includes an elevated frame, at least one support arm, a height adjustable mechanism, at least one pressure releasing attachment, a first handle, and a second handle. The pressure releasing attachment is rotatably attached to the support arm. The support arm is operatively coupled to the elevated frame, wherein the support arm enables the pressure releasing attachment to rotate above the ground surface. The height adjustable mechanism is operatively coupled to the elevated frame, wherein the height adjustable mechanism changes the operational height of the pressure releasing attachment. The first handle and the second handle are oppositely positioned of each other about the pressure releasing attachment as the first handle is mounted to the elevated frame, and the second handle is mounted to the elevated frame.

A motion assist crane device can include a base, a support tower extending upwardly from the base, a counterbalance beam attached to the support tower at a position between the ends of the counterbalance beam by a hinge, a tether attached to a first end of the counterbalance beam, the tether configured to attach to an arm of a user, and one or more weights positioned on a second end of the counterbalance beam. A method for assisting motion of a user's arm can include providing the device, attaching the tether to the user's arm, and moving the user's arm, wherein the movement is at least partially supported by the weights.

An extremity flexion and extension exerciser device is described. The device includes a joint supported by a base, a rotating arm mounted on the joint, the rotating arm including a first side extending from the joint in a first direction, and a second side extending from the joint in a second direction opposite the first direction, a handle or paddle attached to a distal end of the first side of the rotating arm, and one or more weights are selectively attachable to the second side of the rotating arm.

An ankle exerciser device is described. The device can include a base component, a jointed foot plate assembly attached to the base component, the jointed foot plate assembly comprising a foot plate and a joint, the joint configured to allow the foot plate to tilt, pivot, and/or rotate relative to the base component, and a maze board attached to the foot plate of the jointed foot plate assembly, the maze board comprising a maze. A method of exercising the ankle can include positioning a ball in the maze of the maze board, and moving the ball through the maze by applying forces to the foot plate with a foot.

An exercise device having a first handle, a second handle, and a cylindrical chamber. The cylindrical chamber is oriented in that the first handle is attached at one end of the cylindrical chamber and the second handle is attached at the other end of the cylindrical chamber. In an illustrative example, the device further includes a graduated self-deflating thermal-compression device. Various embodiments may provide multiple therapy modalities in an efficient, economical, and user-friendly device.

An apparatus, kit, and method for rehabilitating and/or strengthening the soft tissues of a user's lower arm is disclosed. The apparatus has a first arm with a proximal end and a distal end; a second arm with a proximal end, a distal end, one or more discrete sections therebetween for engaging one or more weights, and a means for providing an audible feedback to the user upon completion of an exercise repetition or a half-repetition; and a hinge in contact with the proximal ends of the first and second arms.
