A brake system may include an actuation device, in particular a brake pedal; a first piston-cylinder unit with two pistons, in particular an auxiliary piston and a second piston, in order to supply brake circuits with a pressure medium via a valve device, wherein one of the pistons, in particular the auxiliary piston, can be actuated by means of the actuation device; a second piston-cylinder unit comprising an electric motor-powered drive, a transmission, and at least one piston in order to supply pressure medium to at least one of the brake circuits via a valve device; and a motor pump unit with a valve device in order to supply pressure medium to the brake circuits. The brake system may further include a hydraulic travel simulator which is connected to a pressure or working chamber of the first piston-cylinder unit.
Device and Method for Controlling a Braking System, Braking System and Vehicle
A device for controlling a braking system of a vehicle may include a position sensor device which is designed to detect a position of a brake pedal and/or a piston of a main brake cylinder actuated by the brake pedal at multiple times, a pressure sensor device which is designed to detect a pressure in a fluid located in the cylinder at multiple times, and a control device which is designed to shift a braking assistance device into an activated state. The control device may make the shift when a temporal change of the detected position exceeds a predefined position gradient threshold value and/or if the distance between two detected positions exceeds a predefined position threshold value, wherein the position gradient threshold value or the position threshold value is provided according to a change in the detected pressure.
Onboard system and emergency brake control method
Upon detecting a current balise, an onboard system of a train calculates a speed curve based on measured traveling speed at a timing of the detection and sets a minimum required time period for traveling to each of a next balise and a balise subsequent to the next balise. Upon detecting the next balise, the onboard system compares a traveling time period from the timing of detecting the current balise to the timing of detecting the next balise with the set minimum required time period. The onboard system activates an emergency brake when the elapsed time period is shorter than the minimum required time period to stop the train.
