Method for Actuating at least one Solenoid Valve
A method for actuating at least one solenoid valve includes detecting a valve actuation signal, energizing the at least one solenoid valve with a specific constant control current for a specific actuation time which follows the detection of the valve actuation signal, and increasing the control current to a full actuation current for a full actuation time which follows the actuation time. The specific constant control current and the actuation time are dimensioned in such a way that at least two different types of solenoid valves can be at least partially opened by the control current during the actuation time.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLING A VEHICLE DECELERATION IN AN ABS BRAKING SYSTEM
A method for controlling a vehicle deceleration in a vehicle with an ABS brake system. The method includes detecting a target vehicle deceleration specified by a driver; defining a maximum deceleration and a minimum deceleration, each depending on the detected target vehicle deceleration; detecting an actual vehicle deceleration; and controlling a braking pressure on wheel brakes of a first vehicle axle and a second vehicle axle depending on the detected actual vehicle deceleration by actuation of ABS brake valves. Controlling the braking pressure by the actuation of the ABS brake valves comprises controlling the braking pressure on the wheel brakes of the second vehicle axle depending on a detected actual differential slip if the actual vehicle deceleration is less than the maximum deceleration and greater than the minimum deceleration, wherein the actual differential slip indicates the difference in a rotational behavior of the first vehicle axle.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLING A VEHICLE DECELERATION IN DEPENDENCE ON A DIFFERENTIAL SLIP BETWEEN TWO VEHICLE AXLES
A method for controlling a vehicle deceleration depending on a differential slip between two vehicle axles in a vehicle with an ABS brake system includes detecting at least one of a target vehicle deceleration specified by the driver and an actual vehicle deceleration; and controlling a braking pressure on wheel brakes of a vehicle axle to be controlled by actuation of ABS brake valves in such a way that the braking pressure on the wheel brakes of the vehicle axle to be controlled is controlled depending on a detected actual differential slip, so that the actual differential slip corresponds to a target differential slip. The actual differential slip indicates a difference in a rotational behavior of the vehicle axle to be controlled relative to a further vehicle axle. The target differential slip is dependent on at least one of the detected actual vehicle deceleration and the detected target vehicle deceleration.
ELECTROMAGNETIC ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY, PRESSURE CONTROL MODULE, AND VEHICLE BRAKING SYSTEM HAVING AN ELECTROMAGNETIC ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
An electromagnetic-actuator (EA) assembly includes a first EA having a first coil-arrangement (CA) with a first coil-core (CC) and a first coil and having a first movable-magnetic-armature-body (MMAB) which is movable by a magnetic-field generated by the first CA from a first into a second position in which the first AB is attracted towards a first-surface, which is different from the first CC and arranged opposite the first AB, and contacts the first CC, and a second EA having a second CA with a second CC and a second coil and having a MMAB having a damping-device mounted on the second AB and which is movable by a magnetic-field generated by the second CA from a first into a second position in which the second AB is attracted towards a second-surface and abuts against the second-surface by the damping-device. The first and second surfaces are identical in construction.
METHOD FOR BRAKING A TRACTOR-TRAILER
A method of braking a tractor-trailer includes sensing, autonomously, a braking event, the braking event being indicative of a requirement for braking the tractor-trailer and actuating a trailer brake valve of a trailer of the tractor-trailer to apply trailer brakes prior to actuating a tractor brake valve of a tractor of the tractor-trailer to apply tractor brakes and to apply trailer brakes. Actuating the trailer brake valve of the trailer of the tractor-trailer occurs in response to the sensing of the braking event.
