Quick Coupler having Lateral Actuating Levers
A quick coupler includes a housing in which a first and a second coupler cartridge are received. The spaced-apart center axes of the first and second coupler cartridges each run parallel to a vertical axis such that the center axes are contained in a common reference plane. The quick coupler further includes a first actuating lever and a second actuating lever for actuating the coupler cartridges. First and a second axes of rotation of the respective first and second actuating levers are oriented perpendicularly to the reference plane, and a first actuating arm and a second actuating arm are arranged to perpendicularly to the reference plane on opposite sides of the housing.
METHOD FOR TREATING A PIPE, PIPE AND PIPE CONNECTION DEVICE
A method for treating a pipe, in particular a motor vehicle pipe, wherein a flare is generated at least at one pipe end of the pipe. At least areas of the flare are provided with at least one layer, which changes the friction properties of the coated surface of the flare. The flare is coated by means of plasma coating.
Angle cock repair cartridge
A replacement cartridge for repairing rather than replacing an angle cock. The cartridge has a ball key with a ball and a shaft. A unitary ball seat that has first and second internal bearing surfaces for engaging the ball is used to support the ball key when installed in the angle cock body that is being repaired. A cover is positioned over the ball seat and defines a bore through which the shaft of the ball key extends. A handle is coupled to the shaft of the ball key so that a user may rotate the ball between the internal bearing surfaces between an open position and a closed position.
Hydraulic line coupling for a hydraulic brake or clutch of handlebar-operated vehicles and hydraulic brake of a handlebar-operated vehicle
A hydraulic line coupling, for a hydraulic brake or clutch of handlebar-operated vehicles, having a line connection piece with a hydraulic line extension and a housing with a coupling opening, in which the line connection piece for coupling the line to the housing can be disposed. The connection piece comprises a passage connected to the line. A valve device is disposed in the housing and is configured such that the valve device closes the connection for the connection piece when the connection piece is not in the coupling opening. The line coupling has a seal, with which seal the valve device closes the connection for the connection piece when the connection piece is not in the coupling opening. With the seal, the connection piece seals the passage from the environment when the connection piece is in the coupling opening.
Brake fluid reservoir with filling adapter
The present disclosure relates to a brake fluid device comprising a brake fluid reservoir having a storage space, having a fastening device for fastening to a pressure generator unit of a motor vehicle brake system and/or to a mounting interface in a motor vehicle. The brake fluid interface has an outlet interface for transporting brake fluid into such a pressure generator unit, and having an inlet interface (15) for brake fluid. The brake fluid device further includes a filling adapter having a filling opening, having a receiving space, and having an outlet interface for brake fluid. A brake fluid line connects the outlet interface of the filling adapter and the inlet interface of the brake fluid reservoir and through which brake fluid is able to flow from the filling adapter into the brake fluid reservoir. An air line extends through the brake fluid line in such a manner that one of its two line ends is located inside the receiving space of the filling adapter and the other line end is located inside the storage space of the brake fluid reservoir.
Connector for setting layout of brake hose
In embodiments, a connector for setting a layout of a brake hose includes a first coupling member coupled to one end of the brake hose; a second coupling member disposed to be spaced apart from the first coupling member, and coupled to the caliper housing or the frame of the master cylinder; and an adjusting unit connected at one end thereof to the first coupling member, connected at other end thereof to the second coupling member, and configured to adjust a shortest length between a bottom surface of the first coupling member and an outer circumferential surface of the second coupling member and to adjust a bend angle between the first coupling member and the second coupling member, in a test for setting the layout of the brake hose.
Combined dirt collector and cutout cock having controlled venting
A combined dirt collector and cutout cock (CDC & COC) device for a rail car control to prevent unintentional re-pressurization of the control valve and rail car braking system. The device has an inlet configured for interconnection to an air supply, an outlet configured for interconnection to a control valve of a rail car, a valve moveable between a first position where an inlet is connected to an outlet and a second position where the inlet is isolated from the outlet, and a control valve vent positioned downstream of the valve and configured to open in response to the valve being moved into the second position. The valve may include a ball having a first passageway for selectively connecting and disconnecting the inlet from the outlet and a second passageway formed therethrough that is positioned to interconnect the outlet with the vent when the valve is in the second position.
Pressure medium assembly
A pressure medium assembly, in particular for providing and regulating a pressure in a brake circuit of a slip-controllable brake system of a motor vehicle, includes a housing block and an electronic controller. The housing block includes a pump configured to be actuated by a drive motor and a valve, which are actuated by the controller. The controller is secured to an outer face of the housing block and has a device flange that is paired with a housing flange formed on the housing block. The flanges fix the housing block and the controller together. The housing flange protrudes radially outwards relative to a housing block peripheral side facing the housing flange such that the entire upper face of the housing block is available for a controller housing. This configuration additionally allows the use of a printed circuit board which is free of open recesses on the peripheral side.
BRAKING CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD OF VEHICLE
A braking control system and method of a vehicle are configured to safely stop the vehicle by determining whether a brake line fails via detecting a change in braking pressure and compensating for braking force through an engaging operation of an electric parking brake (EPB) when determining that the brake line fails in association with driver manipulation of the brake pedal. The braking control system includes: a vehicle speed detector; a wheel lock detector; a brake pedal operation detector that determines whether a brake pedal is operated; a brake line failure detector that determines whether the brake line fails when the brake pedal is operated; and a controller configured to engage the EPB when a current vehicle speed is equal to or greater than a predetermined vehicle speed, a current state is a wheel-unlock state, and the brake line fails.
