Activation system for pipeline plug
A pipeline plug includes a plug body. The plug body includes an outer housing. The interior of the outer housing defines a pressure vessel. The pipeline plug includes a pressure head coupled to the plug body, a seal assembly, a gripper assembly, a movable head, and an actuation mechanism. The actuation mechanism includes a leadscrew, the leadscrew coupled to the movable head. The actuation mechanism includes a captive nut, the captive nut positioned within the pressure vessel. The actuation mechanism includes a motor, the motor operatively coupled to the captive nut and adapted to rotate the captive nut.
Separable tow hook brake release system
A brake release system for a vehicle is described to transfer mechanical movement between two hydraulic actuators. The system includes a first hydraulic system on a removable portion of the vehicle and a second hydraulic system on a main chassis of the vehicle. The two hydraulic systems are mechanically engaged with each other where the removable portion of the vehicle attaches to the main chassis. In this way, a force applied to the removable portion of the vehicle when the vehicle's tow hook is engaged may be transferred to release the parking brake on the main chassis without a hydraulic connection between the removable portion and the main chassis. This may be useful when a removable battery frame with a tow hook makes up a separable rear portion of an electric vehicle, allowing the battery frame to be quickly and efficiently removed from the main chassis of the vehicle.
Smart gladhand with wireless actuation and reporting
A gladhand assembly includes a gladhand that rotates about a first axis with respect to a sealed housing. The sealed housing includes a lever affixed to the first axis to rotate as the gladhand rotates. A stop within the sealed housing may be configured into an engaged position in which it engages with the lever to lock the gladhand into a fixed position in which the gladhand cannot be rotated about the first axis. In addition, the stop may be configured into a retracted position to permit the lever to rotate and allow the gladhand to be rotated into a deployed position.
Orientation Block Assembly
This specification describes an orientation block apparatus and assembly for aligning and orienting a brake fluid line and its integral fitting to a structure.
HYDRAULIC SEALING BODY FOR BICYCLE BRAKING SYSTEMS AND HYDRAULIC HOSE ASSEMBLY FOR BICYCLE BRAKING SYSTEMS
The disclosure relates to a hydraulic sealing body comprising a radially inner surface defining a through-cavity and an annular element projecting in a radially inner direction from said radially inner surface, the annular element comprising a first annular abutment surface configured to receive in contact relationship a head portion of a coupling terminal and a second annular abutment surface, axially opposite to the first, configured to receive in contact relationship an axial end of a hydraulic hose.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES FOR ENGAGING AND TRANSPORTING OBJECTS
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for engaging, lifting, and moving objects such as wheeled cargo trailers are provided. In one embodiment, a mobile apparatus includes a transport mechanism, a frame, and one or more lift assemblies. The lift assemblies may be adjusted using one or more attached actuators that position the lift assemblies and/or components thereof for engaging and lifting an object. The transport mechanism may be autonomously operated. A vision system may be used to locate and identify objects and/or guide the mobile apparatus into position to engage and lift the objects. An adapter for a pneumatic braking system of a wheeled cargo trailer is also provided. The adapter provides a pneumatic attachment for a pressurized air source that is separate from a glad hands connector attached to the braking system.
Device for Unfreezing Trailer Braking System
The present invention relates to a device designed to quickly and efficiently unfreeze a frozen tractor trailer brake system. The device features a junction and T-valve assembly having a removable top plug, a quick connect fitting attached to both a first end of the junction and a tractor emergency brake line, and an outlet pipe attached to both a second end of the junction and the trailer glad hand. A de-icing solution may be introduced into an opening in the T-valve and forced through the trailer brake system by utilizing the air pressure from the tractor's emergency air brake, wherein the de-icing solution quickly and efficiently thaws the frozen brake system.
Brake tube connector and brake tube connector assembly
A brake tube connector including a brake tube with a flare at an end, and a screw. The flare has a front portion with a front abutment surface, a rear portion with a rear abutment surface, and an intermediate portion between. The screw is arranged coaxially with the brake tube with an abutment surface facing the rear abutment surface. The rear portion of the flare has a frustoconical shape and an inclination angle between the rear abutment surface and a radial plane. The screw abutment surface is inwardly inclined at an angle between the screw abutment surface and a radial plane.
Circuit and distributor block and brake control assembly formed therefrom for rail vehicles, and distributor set for configuring purposes and method for creating the brake control assembly
A circuit has a fluid line matrix and brake components connected to the fluid line matrix. Changes in the brake designs or brake functions can be carried out easily in that at least one interface is provided for connecting a distributor block. The interface is designed such that a configuration of the fluid line matrix can be formed by connecting or exchanging the distributor block. There is also described a distributor block which is suitable for forming a configuration of the fluid line matrix of the circuit by connecting to the at least one interface of the circuit.
Hydraulic sealing body for bicycle braking systems and hydraulic hose assembly for bicycle braking systems
A hydraulic sealing body including a radially inner surface defining a through-cavity and an annular element projecting in a radially inner direction from said radially inner surface is disclosed herein. The annular element includes a first annular abutment surface configured to receive in contact relationship a head portion of a coupling terminal, and a second annular abutment surface, axially opposite to the first, configured to receive in contact relationship an axial end of a hydraulic hose.
