Vehicle disc brake
An embodiment discloses a vehicle disc brake including a caliper body, a banjo and a banjo bolt. An acting portion of the caliper body has a cylinder bore accommodating a piston. The caliper body is formed through a gravity casting method. A gate mark is formed on the bottom wall of the cylinder bore as a result of cutting the gate after the caliper body has been cast, and the gate mark includes a worked surface and a projecting surface. A union hole communicating with a hydraulic pressure chamber and a locking hole receiving the locking projection of a banjo are opened in the worked surface. And, an uneven portion is provided between the worked surface and the projecting surface.
Air brake hose support bracket
A railway car air brake hose support bracket has an upper portion with first and second attachment members, a lower portion and an air hose connector. The first attachment member enters into and engages a portion of an accessible compartment of an uncoupling mechanism housing below the coupler head, and the second attachment member is secured to an air brake hose support lug of the railway car coupler. The air brake hose connector engages an air brake hose assembly and suspends this hose assembly from the railway coupler at a predetermined distance above the rail bed. A method of installing the hose support bracket includes positioning the first and second attachment members, securing them in place, and attaching one or more railway brake hose units to the air hose connector, either before or after this positioning and securing of the upper portion of the bracket.
TRAINLINE SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
An end hose support assembly for a rail car is disclosed. The end hose support assembly may include a rear support bracket configured to be removably engaged within a yoke and the support assembly may constrain the lateral and vertical movement of a portion of the trainline.
BRAKE LINE WITH ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY FOR EASY INSTALLATION
An attachment assembly for a fluid line on a vehicle may include a spigot operably coupled to the fluid line such that automotive fluid may flow from the fluid line through the spigot, a coupling member which may operably couple the fluid line to the spigot, and a locking member which may be operably coupled to the coupling member to secure the fluid line to a chassis of the vehicle via insertion of the locking member into a bore disposed at the chassis of the vehicle. The locking member may be installed on the vehicle by hand without the use of tools.
Brake hose support structure of vehicle
A brake hose support structure of a vehicle includes a brake hose through which pressure fluid is flowed between a pressure source mounted to the vehicle and a brake caliper of a disk brake device of the vehicle, and a hose support supporting the brake hose. The brake hose has a first end that is located adjacent to the pressure source, a second end that is located adjacent to the brake caliper, and a supporting portion that is disposed between the first and second ends. The hose support supports the brake hose at the supporting portion such that an axis of the brake hose extends parallel to a kingpin axis.
Brake line anchor
Generally described, aspects of the disclosed subject matter are directed to an apparatus for anchoring a line, such as a line anchor suitable for use with the brake line of a vehicle. The brake line anchor includes a line coupling member to secure the brake line to the brake line anchor, and a mounting member for mounting the brake line anchor to the vehicle. The brake line anchor has a deflection control portion positioned intermediately along the length. The deflection control portion has a necked-down cross-sectional area such that the brake line anchor is configured to provide independent selection of the stiffness in each direction of bending and in axial compression/extension of the line coupling member such that the brake line anchor can be tailored to the mounting location and system in which the brake line anchor is utilized.
Fuel pipe clamp
An apparatus for protecting a tubing from a moving object includes a housing and a hooking member. The housing includes an exterior surface and a passage. The passage is configured to receive the tubing, and extends from a first end to a second end of the housing. The hooking member extends from the exterior surface of the housing, and is configured to catch onto the moving object to protect piece of tubing.
Brake hose prototype assembly and method for prototyping a brake hose assembly
The device for prototyping a conduit between a first vehicular component and a second vehicular component includes a flexible cylindrical member, a first connector, and a second connector. The flexible cylindrical member has a first end portion and an opposite second end portion. The flexible cylindrical member has a plurality of equally spaced first and second indicia extending longitudinally and circumferentially, respectively, on an outer surface of the cylindrical member. The first connector is fixedly connected to the first end portion of the cylindrical member. The first connector is connected to the first vehicular body component. The second connector connects to the second vehicular body component. The second connector is positioned between a closed position in which the second end portion is releasably connected to the second connector and an open position in which the second end portion is rotatable and linearly displaceable with respect to the second connector.
BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY
A vehicle is provided which comprises a plurality of ground engaging members and a frame supported by the plurality of ground engaging members. An engine is supported by the frame, the engine comprising an engine intake that includes an engine intake inlet. A brake assembly comprises a brake output member coupled to at least one ground engaging member of the plurality of ground engaging members, a master cylinder coupled to the brake output member, and a brake booster operably coupled to the master cylinder. Further, the brake booster comprising a body defining a fresh air intake, a conduit extending outwardly from the fresh air intake, and an inlet to the conduit positioned vertically above the brake booster.
Vehicle provided with leaning-capable vehicle-body frame and two front wheels
A vehicle includes a restrictor that prevents movement of a brake controlling operation transmission member and is provided at an upper portion of at least one of an upper cross portion, a right side portion, and a left side portion. The brake controlling operation transmission member includes a leaning-associated deforming portion that is located between a brake controller and the restrictor to deform in response to the leaning of a body frame and a wheel-turning-associated deforming portion at least a portion of which is located between the leaning-associated deforming portion and a brake device to deform in response to the turning of a right front wheel and a left front wheel.
