INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
[Object] To provide an information processing device capable of accurately calculating a moving distance on the basis of the number of steps. [Solution] The information processing device includes: a movement determination unit configured to determine whether or not a user is moving on the basis of at least one of a heart rate, a blood pressure, and a respiratory rate of the user; and a distance calculation unit configured to calculate a moving distance of the user on the basis of the number of steps of the user in a period in which the movement determination unit determines that the user is moving.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SPORTS PRACTICE
A practice wall for sports having a plurality of panels arranged in a series of rows and columns. The columns are joined by hinges such that the columns can be folded to create various profiles which will cause a ball to reflect differently depending on the goals of the athlete. In one embodiment the panels can be readily disassembled so the wall can be temporarily erected, stored, and reassembled. In some embodiments the inventive practice wall can be fitted with instrumentation to provide objective performance data to the athlete or a coach.
Golf Swing Analysis System
A virtual play system is composed of a mobile terminal 2 worn by a player P, a virtual play display terminal 6 provided with a display unit 86, and a cloud server 4 capable of communicating with the mobile terminal 2 and the virtual play display terminal 6. The mobile terminal 2 includes a data analysis unit that transmits first measurement data obtained by measuring and quantifying an actual motion of player P during play and second measurement data obtained by measuring and quantifying the motion of player P during simulated play to the cloud server 4, and the cloud server 4 includes a virtual play data generation unit that calculates virtual play data based on the first measurement data and the second measurement data, and the virtual play display terminal 6 displays the virtual play data.
MEASUREMENT SYSTEM, MEASUREMENT APPARATUS, AND MEASUREMENT METHOD
A measurement system including a plurality of measurement apparatuses configured to cooperate to measure a measurement target moving, with a MEMS mirror performing raster scanning using laser beams with a same wavelength and with a synchronized measurement period, wherein of the plurality of measurement apparatuses, a first measurement apparatus corresponding to a detected position of the measurement target emits the laser beam onto the measurement target in the measurement period, to measure a distance to the measurement target based on a reflected beam from the measurement target, and while the first measurement apparatus is emitting the laser beam onto the measurement target in the measurement period, a second measurement apparatus different from the first measurement apparatus emits the laser beam in a period other than the measurement period.
SIDE FOOT MOUNTED IMU JUMP HEIGHT SENSOR SYSTEM
The present invention measures jump heights using an IMU sensor module slipped in a pocket of a removable side ankle mount clip placed over any low, mid or high tops ankle athletic running shoe. A micro-processor in the IMU sensor module converts analog jump height data collected with real time digital signal processing to digital data sent to specialized algorithms loaded in a RF paired smartphone to refine the digital data to accurately calculate the height of the jump. The clip has two downward spaced legs joined by a curved arch at the top with a first leg being flexible and fitting snugly against a wearer's ankle below the fibula bone with the curved arch resting over the shoe's collar. The second leg has a foot extending outwardly from the curved arch to form a pocket with a top opening to receive and snugly hold the module.
TRAINING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A method can include providing an object having a size smaller than a size of a known regulation object, projecting the object, via a delivery device, toward a trainee, and training the trainee to follow the object. A method can include determining a game parameter of a game trajectory of a sports object that was projected along the game trajectory in a real-time sports event, and based on the game parameters, adapting a delivery device to deliver a training object along a training trajectory that mimics at least a portion of the game trajectory, with the training object being smaller than the sports object.
Identification and analysis of movement using sensor devices
Disclosed are various embodiments for using sensor devices to detect and monitor movement of a body. The sensor devices may be coupled to a body in a predefined arrangement, where a sensor device is positioned on a particular portion of the body in accordance with the predefined arrangement. The sensor devices measure a position of the portion of the body to which the band is secured during movement and communicate the position to a client device to be used in generating and updating a graphical representation of the movement performed in near-real-time. Further, the client device may determine whether the movement performed conforms to an ideal movement and, in response to the movement not conforming to the predefined movement, a suggested change in the movement can be identified that, if performed, would conform to the ideal movement.
Fitness Monitoring Methods, Systems, and Program Products, and Applications Thereof
Program products, methods, and systems for providing fitness monitoring are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for scheduling training activities for a user of a fitness monitoring device includes: defining a cardio training plan including one or more cardio training activities and defining a non-cardio training plan including one or more non-cardio training activities; scheduling execution of the non-cardio training plan and the cardio training plan in a training calendar; and providing a graphical display of the training calendar including the cardio training plan and the non-cardio training plan to the user of the fitness monitoring device.
Golf club heads
Some disclosed golf club heads include body having at least one raised sole portion and a cantilevered ledge extending down around a perimeter of the club head below the level of the raised sole portion. Some disclosed golf club heads include one or more sole openings in the body and a sole insert that is mounted inside the body over the sole openings. The sole can include weight tracks as well, and a rear weight track can extend between a toe side sole opening and a heel side sole opening. A crown insert can also be included that is mounted over an upper opening in the body.
GOLF CLUB
A golf club has within the grip a main device, a connector, a wireless module, an antenna, a light emitting element, and an optical fiber. The main device is a device that includes a sensor such as a motion sensor, a circuit such as a CPU, and a battery. The light emitting element is an indicating means that emits light in accordance with the state of a component mounted in the golf club. The light emitted by the light emitting element is guided to the grip end by the optical fiber and emitted to the outside of the grip via the grip end.
