The new and distinct cultivar of perennial Sedum plant named ‘Bright Idea’ is characterized by drought-tolerant, winter-hardy, tight, compact, rounded mounds, flower stems that remain upright in the center of the plant throughout the growing season, small, medium-green, glossy foliage with reddish blush along the edges and numerous bright yellow flowers clustered on small heads, on bright reddish stems, that completely covering the plant in early summer.
Sedum plant named ‘Rosy Cheeks’
A new and distinct ornamental perennial Sedum plant named ‘Rosy Cheeks’ is characterized by tight-forming, compact, domed clumps with small-sized, blue-green glaucous foliage that becomes wine-colored with high light. The numerous vertical to arching branched flower stems resist falling over and opening up in the center of the plant throughout the growing season. Numerous stems produce a multitude of flowers of bright rosy-pink effect completely covering the top of the plant. The new plant is useful for the landscape in containers, as specimens, en masse.
Echeveria plant named ‘Fairy Princess’
A new and distinct variety of Echeveria hybrid plant named ‘Fairy Princess’ is disclosed, characterized by rosettes of rose-violet with margins of a lighter color. Plants grow quickly and robustly. Echeveria plant named ‘AMIECH2008’
A new and distinct Echeveria hybrid plant named ‘AMIECH2008’ which is characterized by relatively small, obovate foliage that is tightly held in a compact rosette, green juvenile foliage at the center of the rosette which becomes progressively suffused with a mixture of greyed-purple to brown as it matures, foliage with a mucronate tip that becomes progressively suffused with greyed-purple with age, mature foliage that is lightly to moderately suffused with a mixture of greyed-purple to brown towards the apex of the abaxial surface, mature foliage that is heavily suffused with a mixture greyed-purple to brown on the adaxial surface, and the stability of these characteristics from generation to generation.
Sedum plant named ‘Night Light’
A new and distinct ornamental perennial Sedum plant named ‘Night Light’ is characterized by tight-forming rounded mounds with dark olive-green leaves with greyed-purple glaucous foliage that resists powdery mildew and subsequent scaring. The numerous, wine-colored stems are highly branched and resist lodging in summer heat and rains. The new plant is useful for the landscape in containers, as specimens or en masse.
Echeveria plant named 'OVPEARLS09'
A new and distinct variety of Echeveria plant named ‘OVPEARLS09’ which is characterized by a flattened profile with foliage that is loosely held in a basal rosette, narrowly obovate to broad spathulate foliage with a conspicuous globular growth on the abaxial surface, glaucous foliage that is covered with a layer of greyed-green epicuticular wax which gives the foliage a pale greyed-green appearance, juvenile foliage that is lightly suffused with greyed-purple along the distal portion of the margins and apex, and lightly undulated foliar margins. The new variety has shown to be uniform and stable in the resulting generations from asexual propagation.
