Method for ascertaining a pressure-volume characteristic of a braking system of a vehicle, and evaluation and/or control apparatus for at least one braking system component of a braking system of a vehicle
A method for ascertaining a pressure-volume characteristic of a vehicle braking system includes determining at least a first pressure-volume value pair of a first pressure occurring in the braking system during a pressure rise and of a first volume displaced in order to produce the first pressure, deriving a second pressure-volume value pair for a second pressure higher than the first pressure or for a second volume greater than the first volume in consideration at least of the first pressure-volume value pair and an indication in a predefined characteristic curve of a volume difference between a first volume associated with the first pressure and a second volume associated with the second pressure, or of a pressure difference between a first pressure associated with the first volume and a second pressure associated with the second volume.
Braking system for brake by wire vehicles provided with hydraulic feedback simulator, and actuation method of a braking system for vehicles
A braking system for vehicles has a pilot pump with a manual actuation device, which is fluidically connected to an absorber device which simulates the driving resistance offered by at least one braking device. The system has at least one control unit operatively connected to at least one sensor and to the manual actuator device and is programmed to actuate the braking device via the actuator device when it receives from the sensors a braking action request signal. The control unit is programmed so as to correct the braking action requested by the user, actuating the manual actuator device so as to avoid blocking of one or more wheels or the occurrence of instability of the vehicle during braking. The control unit is programmed to induce on the manual actuation device at least one vibration when it corrects the braking action requested by the user.
WHEEL BRAKE DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE CONTROL
The disclosure relates to a method for controlling a hydraulic pressure in at least one wheel brake of a hydraulic motor vehicle braking system, wherein a system pressure is generated by an electrical pressure supply device and, by control of an in particular normally open inlet valve, having an opening current characteristic curve, a required hydraulic pressure, which is lower than the system pressure, is set in the at least one wheel brake. In order to improve the pressure control, provision is made that the inlet valve is opened by application of an opening current, in particular below the opening current characteristic curve, and is switched over from the opening current to an intermediate current on the opening current characteristic curve.
Hydraulic braking arrangement for off-road vehicles
A hydraulic braking arrangement for controlling front brakes and rear brakes of an off-road vehicle includes a hydro-mechanical service brake system fluidly connecting front and rear brakes to a first source of fluid in pressure by means of a mechanical input which may be imparted by a driver of said off-road vehicle. The hydraulic braking arrangement also includes an additional service brake system fluidly connecting front and rear brakes to a second source of fluid in pressure by means of an electro-hydraulic proportional valve and a remote input.
Method for controlling a braking system for motor vehicles
A method for controlling a braking system for motor vehicles having a hydraulically actuatable wheel brake which can be actuated by an electronically controllable pressure supply device having a cylinderpiston arrangement with a hydraulic pressure chamber, the piston of which can be displaced by an electromechanical actuator such that a pre-defined desired pressure value can be adjusted, a position of the pressure supply device being detected, and an actual pressure (P.sub.v, act) of the pressure supply device being determined by a measurement device. To allow braking pressure to build dynamically at low or medium desired pressure values, manipulated variables (.sub.act,soll,M.sub.act,soll) are formed for the electromechanical actuator (1) on the basis of the pre-defined desired pressure value and of an actual pressure value (P.sub.V,Dach), determined on the basis of the desired pressure value (P.sub.v,soll) by weighted addition of the actual pressure (P.sub.v,act) and of a model pressure (P.sub.v,Mod) calculated from a current position (X.sub.act) of the pressure supply device.
