Automatic coaching system and method for coaching user's exercise
An automatic coaching system and method for an exercise state of a user include: a metric calculating step of calculating at least one metric by using data collected by an acceleration sensor or a location sensor worn by the user; a new coaching target metric selecting step of calculating an error rate between the calculated metric and a prestored metric reference value, selecting a new coaching target metric based on the error rate, and outputting a coaching message related to the coaching target metric; a new metric improvement verifying step of verifying new metric improvement occurrence when the new coaching target metric is not selected and outputting an alarm when the new metric improvement occurs; and an exercise state outputting step of outputting an alarm for an exercise state when the metric improvement and the new coaching target metric are not present.
Multi-purpose adjustable-incline climbing wall
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an adjustable-incline climbing wall. The climbing wall includes one or more climbing panels supported by a frame and a system for adjusting the incline of the frame to provide a climbing wall of a desired incline. The incline of the climbing wall may be adjusted by activating an actuator, which extends the frame a distance from a support wall, tilting the climbing wall to a desired incline. Further, by providing a plurality of attachment points between the actuator and the frame (and/or between the actuator and a support), the adjustable-incline climbing wall may be provided with a wider range of incline angles, as well as increased control over those angles.
Smart device
An Internet of Thing (IoT) device includes a body with a processor, a camera and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor.
EXERCISE SYSTEM
According to one example, an exercise system includes a vertical housing, a first weighted touchpoint coupled to the vertical housing and configured to allow a user to exercise one or more muscles on a first side of the user, a first weight system coupled to the first weighted touchpoint, a second weighted touchpoint coupled to the vertical housing and configured to allow the user to exercise one or more muscles on a second side of the user, and a second weight system coupled to the second weighted touchpoint. The exercise system further includes a control system configured to cause the first weight system to automatically provide a first heavier weight to the first weighted touchpoint for a first exercise and further cause the second weight system to automatically provide a second lighter weight to the second weighted touchpoint for the first exercise.
Monitoring and Tracking Athletic Activity
Tracking and monitoring athletic activity offers individuals with additional motivation to continue such behavior. An individual may track his or her athletic activity by completing goals. These goals may be represented by real-world objects such as food items, landmarks, buildings, statues, other physical structures, toys and the like. Each object may correspond to an athletic activity goal and require an amount of athletic activity to complete the goal. For example, a donut goal object may correspond to an athletic activity goal of burning 350 calories. The user may progress from goal object to goal object. Goal objects may increase in difficulty (e.g., amount of athletic activity required) and might only be available for selection upon completing an immediately previous goal object, a number of goal objects, an amount of athletic activity and the like.
Exercise Machine Adjustable Resistance System And Method
An exercise machine adjustable resistance system and method for efficiently varying the workout resistance for an exercise machine. The exercise machine generally includes a carriage movably positioned with respect to the at least one rail, a plurality of springs selectively connectable to the carriage to provide a resistance level to the carriage, a plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices adapted to latch a corresponding one of the plurality of springs to the carriage when in the latch state and unlatch a corresponding one of the plurality of springs to the carriage when in the unlatch state and a control unit in communication with the plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices to selectively control the state of each of the plurality of electrically actuated mechanical devices to be within the latch state or the unlatch state.
Determining a recovery indicator using heart rate data
Embodiments provide physiological measurement systems, devices and methods for continuous health and fitness monitoring. A wearable strap may detect reflected light from a user's skin, where data corresponding to the reflected light is used to automatically and continually determine a heart rate of the user. The wearable strap may monitor heart rate data including heart rate variability, resting heart rate, and sleep quality. The systems may include a processing module that generates an indicator of physical recovery based on the heart rate data. The recovery indicator may be used to determine strain related to an exercise routine, qualitative information on the user's health, whether to alter a user's exercise plan, and so forth.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DISPLAYING A PREDETERMINED SEQUENCE OF EXERCISE ROUTINE
A computer-implemented method for displaying a predetermined sequence of exercise routines is provided. The method includes receiving a light sequence for the predetermined sequence of exercise routine from an application interface of a user device. The method further includes triggering one or more light emitting elements of a set of light emitting elements disposed on an exercising mat and detecting a movement on one or more touch buttons of a set of touch buttons on the exercising mat. The method includes determining a state of each of the corresponding one or more touch buttons upon detection of the movement. Furthermore, the method includes activating a debounce mechanism to delay in illuminating next one or more light emitting elements of the set of light emitting elements based on the state and displaying the light sequence on the exercising mat for guiding a user for performing the predetermined sequence of exercise routines.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ANALYZING USER PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND PRESCRIBING TREATMENT PLANS TO THE USER
Technologies for evaluating a user's musculoskeletal health and prescribing treatment plans for the user based on the musculoskeletal health is provided. The disclosed techniques include a computing system receiving input data from a client device. The system formatting the input data to generate one or more sets of user characteristic data values and determining initial levels of user musculoskeletal health for the user based upon the sets of user characteristic data values. The system selects a set of treatment plans for the user based on the initial levels of user musculoskeletal health. The system presents the set of treatment plans to the user using media that allows the user to interactively perform exercises prescribed in the treatment plan.
