System and Method for a Golf Super Tag Multifunction Golf Swing Capture and Analysis Device
The present invention is a Golf Super Tag Multifunction Golf Swing Capture and Analysis device comprised of a printed circuit board mounted in a case attached to the end of the club grip or mounted along the club shaft containing sensors and electronic components. The sensor data associated with the golf club swing is processed by the microcontroller firmware that analyzes the physics of the golf swing to determine the various characteristics of the golf swing such as swing plane, club face orientation, club head speed, point of ball impact, etc. This data can be stored in onboard memory and/or relayed via Bluetooth Low Energy or other communication protocols for storage, further application processing and/or relay to web-based systems. The firmware is comprised of code that runs on the microcontroller to handle the microcontroller startup, wake up, power management, sensor control and sensor data, as well as Bluetooth (or other communication protocols).
Exercise machine support system
An exercise machine support system for providing increased versatility including inclination or declination of an exercise surface, a reduction in the overall length and width of the exercise machine, and an enhanced user interface which reduces the risk of injury. The exercise machine support system generally includes a cantilevered exercise machine which is adapted to have a variable angle of incline or decline with respect to a horizontal ground surface. The exercise machine will generally include a base and a support which extends between the base and the exercise machine. The upper end of the support is connected to the exercise machine by a first pivot such that the exercise machine pivots about the support. An adjustment device may be utilized to pivot the exercise machine and thus adjust its angle of incline. Various types of adjustment devices are disclosed, including an actuator, ratchet-and-pawl, gears, and cam.
Internet sports computer cellular device
A system that wirelessly integrates actual sports equipment with a computer and the internet to allow players remotely located from one another to play a competitive simulated sports game. An individual player may opt to play solo or practice to improve basic techniques. The system includes motion sensors connected to the player and a motion sensing device, all containing circuits and contact or motion sensors coupled with signal processing and radio frequency transmitter circuitry, thereby wirelessly communicate game performance information to a remote receiver-computer. The computer displays player information and visually simulates and controls a game between two players via the internet, having similar equipment and remotely located from each other. Standard sports equipment may be retrofitted with the sensors and associated circuitry to convert such equipment into “smart equipment” for use with the system. The system employs specially developed computer software to process player performance data, control game play, communicate game information between players, generate and control visual simulations and display player performance information.
Interactive basketball system
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for a basketball backboard. The basketball backboard includes a display screen, a plurality of sensors configured to generate sensor data regarding a shot attempt of a user, imaging devices configured to generate image data of the shot attempt, a speaker, and a control unit. The control unit can receive (i) the sensor data from the plurality of sensors and (ii) the image data from the imaging devices. Based on the received sensor data, the control unit can determine whether the shot attempt was successful. Based on the received image data and whether the shot attempt was successful, the control unit can generate analytics that indicate characteristics of the user and the shot attempt and recommendations for improving the shot attempt for subsequent shot attempts. The control unit can provide output data representing the analytics.
Automated remote play cue sport system
Cue sports tables are provided with associated automated sensor and positioning assemblies. This permits competitors to play each other on separate tables. The tables automatically sense ball positions on one table and communicate that to a positioner associated with another table. That positioner then automatically drives balls on that other table to a mimicking position. These systems also permit a shot to be replayed if desired.
Methods and apparatus for virtual competition
A system configured to be coupled with a participant of an activity. The system comprises: a participant activity monitoring unit configured for monitoring a performance of the activity by the participant; an activity information module configured for storing performance information corresponding to the activity; and a participant performance correlator configured for delivering comparative performance data based on the monitored performance of the activity by the participant and the stored performance information.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR 3D ONLINE SPORTS ATHLETICS
The present disclosure discloses a method and system for 3D online sports athletics. The system comprises a cloud server and several head-mounted devices having a virtual reality function, wherein each of the head-mounted devices is paired with an intelligent terminal having a step counting function; a 3D scene virtualizing unit of the head-mounted device virtualizing a 3D online sports athletics scene to display the virtualized objects of all the head-mounted device users that participate in the sports athletics; a wirelessly connecting unit, during the process of the sports athletics, wirelessly connecting the intelligent terminal that it is paired with and the cloud server; and a processing unit acquiring, in real time, step counting data of the intelligent terminal that it is paired with and uploading the step counting data to the cloud server, and acquiring the step counting data of other head-mounted devices from the cloud server, driving the 3D scene virtualizing unit to display online the step counting data of each of the head-mounted device users in its 3D online running athletics scene, to realize sports athletics where a plurality of persons are simultaneously online. The present disclosure, by combining the head-mounted device and the intelligent terminals having a step counting function, can realize remote running appointment.
Athletic training system and method
An athletic training system (200) has a data recording system (202) and a data engine (204). The data recording system (202) is configured to record an athletic competition event. The event may have a first team of players competing against a second team of players. The data engine (204) is configured to receive data associated with the recorded athletic competition event. The data engine (204) processes the data and displays the data as a replay of the event in animated form.
ACTIVITY AND WORKOUT UPDATES
The present disclosure generally relates to navigating, viewing, and sharing activity and workout data and interacting with workout and/or activity applications. In some examples, scrolling of activity data is based on the content being displayed. In some examples, friends' activity data may be viewed. In some examples, a notification and workout data for a friend's completed workout is received and displayed. In some example, the activity data received from friends is viewed and managed. In some examples, workout data for a multi-segment workout is displayed in a three-dimensional stack on a map. In some examples, a workout application operates in a limited mode until a touch input is received with a characteristic intensity that is greater than a threshold intensity.
SHARING UPDATABLE GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE ELEMENTS
User interface elements relating to fitness may be shared between user devices. These user interface elements may be updated based at least in part on activity data of users associated with the user devices.
