Vehicle control apparatus
A vehicle control apparatus includes a detection section, a control section. The detection section is configured to detect vehicle information including a vehicle speed of a vehicle driven by an electric motor and drive torque of the electric motor. The control section is configured to moderate a rate of increase in the drive torque at the time of acceleration with respect to a rate of increase set in advance on the basis of a detection result of the detection section on condition that the vehicle speed of the vehicle is less than or equal to a predetermined speed and the drive torque is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold.
Vehicle and method of controlling the same
A vehicle includes at least one speaker, a camera configured to obtain a passenger's image, and a controller. The controller is configured to identify the passenger, to search for the identified passenger and emotion tag information related to a sound source output through the at least one speaker, and to control the at least one speaker or obtain passenger's emotional information according to the search result.
Switching method of automatic driving mode, apparatus and readable storage medium
Provided are a switching method of an automatic driving mode, an apparatus, and a readable storage medium. The method includes determining an identity of a user riding an automatic driving device; determining, according to the identity of the user, a target automatic driving mode matched with the identity of the user from multiple pre-stored automatic driving modes; and controlling, according to the target automatic driving mode, the automatic driving device to perform a current automatic driving task. The method can adopt different automatic driving modes to perform a current automatic driving task according to differences of identities of users and provide the users with experiences riding an automatic driving device that are more suited to their requirements.
Method and apparatus for generating a passenger-based driving profile
An approach is provided for generating a passenger-based driving profile. The approach involves collecting vehicle sensor data of a vehicle carrying a user as a passenger. The vehicle sensor data indicates at least one driving behavior of the vehicle. The approach also involves collecting user sensor data, user input data, or a combination thereof indicating a reaction of the user to the at least one driving behavior. The approach further involves including or excluding the at least one driving behavior in a passenger profile for the user based on the reaction of the user.
Methods, systems, and apparatuses for scenario-based path and intervention adaptation for lane-keeping assist systems
In various embodiments, methods, systems, and vehicle apparatuses are provided. A method for implementing a lane-keeping assist unit of a vehicle by receiving information of a plurality of road geometries, and driving scenarios wherein at least one driving scenario is combined with a target path that is parallel and biased from a lane center by a desired path offset, and a reference path for guiding the vehicle to merge with the target path; adapting the reference path with control based on a selected road geometry and driving scenario; adjusting the desired path offset by considering lane markings during an intervention for an inner curve, an outer curve and a straight road; controlling the vehicle trajectory for enabling the vehicle to track the reference path; exiting the intervention once a trajectory tracking performance by the vehicle is confirmed; and aborting once an instability of the trajectory tracking performance is confirmed.
RECOMMENDATION AND SELECTION OF PERSONALIZED OUTPUT ACTIONS IN A VEHICLE
The present embodiments relate to selection and execution of one or more output actions relating to a modification of at least one feature of a vehicle. A series of sensors on a vehicle can acquire data that can be used to identify vehicle environment characteristics indicative of a status of a vehicle environment and an emotional state of the user. The vehicle environment characteristics and the emotional state can be processed using a user model that corresponds to a user to generate one or more selected output actions. The output actions can be executed on the vehicle to increase user experience. The output actions can relate to any of entertainment features, safety features, and/or comfort features of the vehicle.
