20220363242 · 2022-11-17 ·

Methods and systems are provided for controlling and diagnosing a mechanical vehicle component. In one example, a method may include determining a vehicle speed and a plurality of clutch position settings at a diagnostic controller, and identifying unauthorized conditions based on these determinations. Further, the diagnostic controller may trigger an active fault state of the mechanical vehicle component in order to avoid unauthorized conditions that may lead to unwanted or unanticipated changes in vehicle motion.

The transmission includes a shifting element group with a plurality of shifting elements. The transmission further includes an oil pump and an electric machine, both of which are integrated in the transmission and coupled to an input shaft of the transmission. The oil pump delivers a flow of transmission oil for cooling the shifting element group and cooling the electric machine, and the shifting elements of the shifting element group are controlled and shifted by an actuator system that is independent of the oil pump. When the motor vehicle is at rest, the oil pump is driven by the electric machine in order to cool the electric machine while the motor vehicle is at rest.

Parking release monitoring device for automatic transmission vehicle

A parking release monitoring device for an automatic transmission vehicle is proposed. The device includes: a receiver sensing an output signal of a shift lever; a determiner determining a target gear stage in accordance with the output signal of the shift lever; a driver transmitting a control signal to a parking solenoid to engage a parking sprag and applying a driving current to a clutch control solenoid to engage a clutch and prevent rolling of the vehicle when the determined target gear stage is a P-gear stage; and a detector measuring the intensity of the driving current applied to the clutch control solenoid, in which the determiner receives intensity information of the driving current applied to the clutch control solenoid from the detector and compares the received intensity information of the driving current with the output signal of the shift lever, thereby determining whether parking release has occurred.

ELECTRIFIED FIRE FIGHTING VEHICLE

An electrified fire fighting vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a body coupled to the chassis, a front axle coupled to the chassis, a rear axle coupled to the chassis, a water tank supported by the chassis, an energy storage system coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the cab, a water pump supported by the chassis, and an electromagnetic device electrically coupled to the energy storage system. The electromagnetic device is coupled to the water pump and at least one of the front axle or the rear axle. The electromagnetic device is configured to receive stored energy from the energy storage system and provide a mechanical output to selectively drive the water pump and the at least one of the front axle or the rear axle.

VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD, DEVICE, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND VEHICLE
20230037049 · 2023-02-02 ·

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of vehicles, and particularly to a vehicle control method and apparatus, a storage medium and a vehicle. The method includes: acquiring a pressure of a brake master cylinder and an opening degree of an accelerator pedal; when the pressure of the brake master cylinder is greater than a first preset pressure threshold, the opening degree of the accelerator pedal is no less than a first preset opening degree threshold, and a moment when the pressure of the brake master cylinder is greater than the first preset pressure threshold is earlier than a moment when the opening degree of the accelerator pedal is no less than the first preset opening degree threshold, controlling the vehicle to enter an activated state of a launch starting function; and when the vehicle is in the activated state, controlling an engine of the vehicle to output a target torque. Thus, a driver enables the vehicle to enter the activated state of the launch starting function before starting by operating a brake pedal and the accelerator pedal at the same time, and also enables the vehicle to provide a torque output according to a state of the accelerator pedal while being in a brake state, thus enabling the vehicle to start quickly with greater power, reducing an acceleration time and realizing launch starting.

Method of controlling uphill driving of vehicle

A method of controlling uphill driving of a hybrid vehicle provided with a dual clutch transmission (DCT) may include determining, by a controller, a driving state of a vehicle on the basis of information collected from the vehicle; when the vehicle is determined as being in a uphill driving state, performing, by the controller, high torque control on an engine of the vehicle by increasing an engine torque to control the engine at a predetermined high torque engine operating point and reducing a motor torque of a motor in the vehicle to satisfy a driver request torque; and during the performing of the high torque control on the engine, comparing, by the controller, a state of charge (SOC) value of a battery with a set first SOC threshold value, and when the SOC value of the battery is less than or equal to the first SOC threshold value, performing engine and motor speed control to defend the SOC value of the battery.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT FOR ELECTRIFIED FIRE FIGHTING VEHICLE

An electrified fire fighting vehicle includes a battery pack, an electromagnetic device, an engine, and a controller. The controller is configured to monitor a state-of-charge of the battery pack, operate the electromagnetic device using stored energy in the battery pack to provide a performance condition including (i) accelerating the electrified fire fighting vehicle to a driving speed of at least 50 miles-per-hour in an acceleration time and (ii) maintaining or exceeding the driving speed for a period of time, and start and operate the engine in response to a start condition to facilitate reserving sufficient stored energy in the battery pack such that the state-of-charge is maintained above a minimum state-of-charge threshold that is sufficient to facilitate the performance condition. The acceleration time is 30 second or less. An aggregate of the acceleration time and the period of time is at least 3 minutes.

A system, method, and apparatus includes management of engine off coasting during operation of a vehicle. The engine speed is increased and/or fueling of the engine is re-initiated before the engine and driveline are finally engaged when the engine off coasting mode of operation is terminated.

System, method, and apparatus for operating a high efficiency, high output transmission

A transmission includes an input shaft and an output shaft, the input shaft selectively accepting a torque input from a prime mover, and the output shaft selectively providing torque output to a driveline.
