METHOD FOR VIBRATION DAMPING OF A DRIVE TRAIN BY MEANS OF AN ELECTRIC MACHINE
The invention relates to a method for vibration dampening of a drive train, including an internal combustion engine which has an engine torque (Mvm) from a crankshaft, an electric machine, a transmission which has a transmission input shaft and a torque transmission device arranged between the crankshaft and the transmission input shaft, which torque transmission device has at least one flywheel mass capable of oscillating with a moment of inertia (J 1, J2, J3) and a state controller for controlling the electric machine by a compensation torque (Mregler) compensating for torsional vibrations on the transmission input shaft. In order to achieve high-quality vibration damping, input variables of the state controller are determined by at least one observer for reconstructed rotational characteristic values of the at least one flywheel mass from detected rotational speeds or angles of rotation of the drive train, and the reconstructed rotational characteristic values are determined according to the disturbance variables in the form of a load torque (Mlast) from an output of the torque transmission device and of an induced torque (Mind) transmitted via the torque transmission device from the motor torque of the internal combustion engine.

Methods and systems are provided for a vehicle hill control. An example of a method may include during a vehicle stopped condition, operating with a clutch of a transmission engaged to mechanically lock the transmission, the transmission having a plurality of power inputs including receiving input from an electric machine and a prime mover; releasing at least one of the clutch or a service brake, and while releasing, concurrently adjusting an output magnitude of the electric machine responsive to speed control to control to a zero vehicle speed. In some examples, the method may further include learning a torque output of the electric machine required to maintain the zero vehicle speed upon fully releasing the clutch or service brake. In an example, the method may include estimating a road grade based on the learned torque output.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TORQUE OUTPUT CONTROL
Methods and systems are provided for a vehicle. In one example, a method for the vehicle includes adjusting an output torque of an electric machine to produce a desired vehicle speed and direction of propulsion while operating an auxiliary load powered via the transmission. The output torque may be adjusted while disengaging clutches of a transmission or a service brake to mechanically unlock an output shaft of the transmission. The first electric machine may be operated in a speed control to learn an amount to torque to hold the vehicle speed at zero and the amount of learned torque may be superimposed with an amount of requested torque upon vehicle launch.

Aggregating braking torque during one-pedal drive mode
A vehicle includes a powertrain having an electric machine configured to power driven wheels, an accelerator pedal, and friction brakes. A vehicle controller is programmed to, with the vehicle being in a one-pedal driving mode: in response to a braking torque capacity of the powertrain exceeding a target braking torque that is based on a position of the accelerator pedal, command a torque, that is equal to the target braking torque, from the powertrain such that the vehicle is slowed using the powertrain without application of the friction brakes, and, in response to the braking torque capacity of the powertrain being less than the target braking torque, command torques from the powertrain and the friction brakes such that the target braking torque is satisfied and the vehicle is slowed using the powertrain and the friction brakes.
Misfire determination device of internal combustion engine
A misfire determination period is set to a predetermined range of a crank angle. A CPU performs: a calculation process of calculating an average value of a torque of an output shaft of an internal combustion engine in the misfire determination period; a misfire determining process of determining that a misfire has occurred when the calculated average value is less than a prescribed threshold value; and a process of setting the whole misfire determination period to a period in a positive torque range which is a range of a crank angle at which the torque of the output shaft is equal to or greater than zero at the time of normal combustion in which a misfire does not occur.

MOTOR AND TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH CONTROL STRATEGY FOR ELECTRIC DRIVE UNIT HAVING MOTOR-DRIVEN TORQUE CONVERTER
A method for controlling an electric drive unit (EDU) having a motor-driven torque converter includes receiving a request signal indicative of a requested output torque of the EDU, and operating the motor at a target motor speed using the requested output torque. The target motor speed minimizes system losses while achieving the requested output torque. When the requested output torque remains below a calibrated threshold and a turbine speed is less than a corner speed of the motor, a torque converter clutch (TCC) transitions to or remains in a locked state. The controller commands the TCC to transition to an unlocked state to reach the target motor speed, thereby selectively enabling torque multiplication. A powertrain system includes a driven load and the EDU. A computer readable storage medium may include executable instructions for performing the method.
