Vehicle control system
A vehicle control system configured to limit damage to an electric storage device even if a speed of a motor is changed abruptly. The control system includes a differential mechanism connected to an engine, a motor, and drive wheels, and a clutch. The control system includes a controller is configured to calculate an upper limit power possible to be applied or discharged to or from an electric storage device when a condition to engage the clutch is satisfied and restrict the electric power to be applied or discharged to or from the electric storage device when the electric power is equal to or less than a maximum allowable power that is less than the upper limit power before the clutch is engaged.
Control device for hybrid vehicle
An electronic control unit is mounted on a vehicle including an internal combustion engine and electric motors, each of which is connected to a driving shaft to be capable of transmitting power. The electronic control unit is configured to compute compensation torque reducing a pulsation component of engine torque of the internal combustion engine and command a value in which required torque of the electric motor is combined with the computed compensation torque to the electric motor as a torque command value of the electric motor. The electronic control unit is configured to correct the torque command value so that the value opposite in sign to an average torque command value is not commanded to the electric motor when the average torque command value is smaller than an amplitude of the torque command value.
AUTOMOBILE EQUIPPED WITH THREE-PHASE MOTOR
With a motor in rotation, 0 is set as each of a d-axis current command and a q-axis current command, and offset learning is carried out. Then, in carrying out offset learning, a transmission is controlled such that a shift stage of the transmission falls within a low vehicle speed-side predetermined shift stage range. Thus, the rotational speed of the motor can be more reliably made high to a certain extent, and offset learning can be carried out. As a result, the accuracy of offset learning can be restrained from decreasing.
APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINES
A filter processor of a control apparatus for a rotary electric machine filters target torque for the rotary electric machine to suppress a vibrational frequency component of a drivetrain using a filter having a frequency transfer characteristic. A controller performs drive control of the rotary electric machine according to the filtered target torque. A parameter calculator calculates, according to a running condition of the vehicle, a parameter associated with a request value for responsivity of output torque of the rotary electric machine with respect to the target torque. A variable setter variably sets the frequency transfer characteristic of the filter to decrease a degree of attenuation of the vibrational frequency component with an increase of the request value for the responsivity of the output torque.
CONTROL DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR VEHICLE
A control device for a vehicle is provided. The control device includes an electronic control unit that is configured to: exert the torque of an input member on a fixed member and a rotating member such that the fixed member and the rotating member are separated from each other, when the thrust is exerted for making the engagement teeth mesh with each other; estimate an inclination angle of tooth surfaces based on a relative movement amount between the fixed member and the rotating member, and a relative rotational amount between the fixed member and the rotating member; estimate a frictional coefficient of the tooth surfaces based on the inclination angle; and control the thrust of the actuator according to the frictional coefficient.
CONTROL OF ENGINE PULSE TORQUE CANCELLATION COMMANDS
A powertrain assembly includes a transmission, an engine, first and second motor/generators and a controller. The controller includes a processor and memory on which is recorded instructions for executing a method for controlling engine pulse torque cancellation commands. The controller is programmed to determine an engine pulse torque (T.sub.P). The controller is programmed to calculate a first motor torque pulse command (T.sub.A) for the first motor/generator as a product of a first gear factor (G.sub.1), the engine pulse torque (T.sub.P) and a first ratio (I.sub.A/I.sub.E) of a predetermined first moment of inertia (I.sub.A) for the first motor/generator and a predetermined engine moment of inertia (I.sub.E). Similarly, the controller is programmed to calculate a second motor torque pulse command (T.sub.B) for the second motor/generator. The controller is programmed to control the first and second motor/generators in response to the first and second motor torque pulse commands, respectively.
Method for shutting off an internal combustion engine
A method is described for shutting off an internal combustion engine in a vehicle that comprises an internal combustion engine and an electrical machine, an electrical torque furnished by the electrical machine being adapted in such a way that a change per unit time in a total torque lies within a definable range, the total torque being made up at least of a torque of the internal combustion engine and the electrical torque.
VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD AND VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
A vehicle control device controls a vehicle including a drive motor connected to a rotation shaft of wheels, a battery that supplies electricity to the drive motor, and an internal combustion engine connected to the drive motor. The vehicle is equipped with, as traveling modes, a normal mode, and an eco-mode having a larger regenerative braking force than the normal mode obtained such that rotational energy of the wheels is converted into electrical energy. A controller stops the internal combustion engine and switches from the normal mode to the eco-mode when detecting at least an abnormality in the internal combustion engine during traveling of the vehicle.
VEHICLE SPEED ESTIMATION METHOD AND VEHICLE SPEED ESTIMATION DEVICE FOR FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE
A vehicle body speed estimation device and a vehicle body speed estimation method are provided for estimating a vehicle body speed of a four-wheel drive vehicle from a wheel speed of each wheel of the four-wheel drive vehicle. In the vehicle body speed estimation device and a vehicle body speed estimation method, a controller determines whether a deviation of at least two of the wheel speeds among the wheel speeds is within a first prescribed range. The controller switches a method for selecting the wheel speed used for estimating the vehicle body speed between a first method and a second method when a sign of a drive torque that is applied to each of the wheels is reversed and the deviation of at least two of the wheel speeds among the wheel speeds is within the first prescribed range.
HYBRID CLUTCH MANAGEMENT METHOD
A method for starting a combustion engine of a hybrid motor vehicle drivetrain, in which there is a connection clutch interposed between the combustion engine and the electric motor for transmitting a torque between the combustion engine and the electric motor, and a main clutch interposed between the gearbox and the electric motor. From an initial state in which the electric motor generates a drive torque and the combustion engine is stopped, the main clutch is kept in a closed state so as to transmit the torque generated by the electric motor to the gearbox, and the connection clutch is controlled so as to transmit a drive torque between the electric motor and the combustion engine and perform a torque-limiting function between the combustion engine and the electric motor in order to limit the transmission of acyclisms between the combustion engine and the electric motor.
