A control system for a hybrid vehicle configured to prevent an excessive drop in an engine speed and while reducing vibrations when decelerating the vehicle abruptly. When an abrupt decelerating operation is detected in the fixed mode, a controller shifts an operating mode from the fixed mode to the high mode or the low mode by disengaging one of engagement devices in which a torque applied thereto in the fixed mode is reduced smaller by an inertia torque of the motor resulting from the decelerating operation.

METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING LINEAR LUENBERGER OBSERVER FOR VEHICLE CONTROL
The present invention discloses a method for constructing linear luenberger observer for vehicle control. The method for constructing linear luenberger observer for vehicle control comprises the following steps: step 1: building a state-space equation of a driving system of a vehicle to judge observability of the driving system; step 2: dividing the state of the driving system into blocks, and reconstructing state components of the driving system to obtain an rewritten state observation equation of the driving system; step 3: introducing transformation into the rewritten state equation of the driving system to obtain an expression equation and an error equation of the Luenberger observer. The linear luenberger observer constructed by the present invention has low implementation difficulty. High-frequency noise in an output signal of a rotational speed sensor is reduced.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING AT LEAST ONE ELECTRICAL MACHINE
A method and a system for a vehicle comprising: one or more power sources including at least one electrical machine; and a drivetrain for transferring torque between the one or more power sources and at least one drive wheel of the vehicle. The method comprises: controlling, when no positive drive torque (T.sub.drive) is transferred from the drivetrain to the at least one drive wheel, the at least one electrical machine to provide a backlash torque (T.sub.backlash) to the drivetrain, the backlash torque (T.sub.backlash) having a controlled value for turning the drivetrain if there is a backlash present in the drivetrain.
Drive force control system for hybrid vehicle
A drive force control system for hybrid vehicles configured to reduce a change in a drive force simultaneous execution of a starting operation of an engine and a shifting operation of a transmission. The drive force control is applied to a hybrid vehicle comprising: an engine connected to front wheels; a first motor connected to rear wheels; and a transmission that changes a speed ratio between the first motor and the rear wheels. A controller restricts execution of any one of an engine staring operation and a shifting operation of the transmission during execution of other one of the engine staring operation and shifting operation of the transmission.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR HYBRID VEHICLES

When an abrupt decelerating operation is detected in the fixed mode, a controller shifts an operating mode from the fixed mode to the high mode or the low mode by disengaging one of engagement devices in which a torque applied thereto in the fixed mode is reduced smaller by an inertia torque of the motor resulting from the decelerating operation.
Vehicle system vibration suppression control device and vibration suppression control method
A vehicle system vibration suppression control device is provided for a vehicle system in which a vehicle is driven via an elastic shaft by a motor drive device having a torque control function. The vehicle system vibration suppression control device includes: a section containing an approximate model to which an output torque command is inputted; and a feedback control section. The feedback control section is configured to: employ the approximate model; calculate a motor-accelerating torque component by differentiating a measured speed component of a motor rotational speed; produce a compensation torque component by causing the motor-accelerating torque component to pass through a vibration suppression control filter; and calculate the output torque command by subtracting the compensation torque component from an input torque command. The vibration suppression control filter is expressed by a second order mathematical expression.
