VEHICLE AND VEHICLE CONTROL INTERFACE
A vehicle is a vehicle on which an ADK is mountable. The vehicle includes: a VP that controls the vehicle in accordance with an instruction from the ADK; and a VCIB that serves as an interface between the ADK and the VP. The VP outputs an accelerator pedal position signal in accordance with an amount of depression of an accelerator pedal by a driver, and outputs an accelerator pedal intervention signal, to the ADK through the VCIB. The accelerator pedal intervention signal indicates that the accelerator pedal is depressed, when the accelerator pedal position signal indicates that the amount of depression is larger than a threshold value, and indicates beyond autonomy acceleration of the vehicle, when an acceleration request in accordance with the amount of depression is higher than a system acceleration request.
DRIVING ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
A driving assistance apparatus makes a drive force of a vehicle equal to an erroneous operation coping drive force which is smaller than an ordinary drive force in a period from a satisfaction of an erroneous operation start condition which is satisfied when an accelerator pedal is operated erroneously to a satisfaction of an erroneous operation end condition which is satisfied when the erroneous operation has ended. The erroneous operation coping drive force is set to a first drive force if the erroneous operation start condition becomes satisfied after a reoperation determination time point at which a time threshold elapses from when the erroneous operation end condition became last satisfied. Meanwhile, the erroneous operation coping drive force is set to a second drive force which is greater than the first drive force if the erroneous operation start condition becomes satisfied before the reoperation determination time point.
VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD AND VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
In the present invention, an internal combustion engine (7) drives a generator (6). The internal combustion engine (7) carries out a standby operation. The standby operation is an operation involving assisting power supply to a drive motor (2). During the standby operation of the internal combustion engine (7), the SoC of a battery (4) is equal to or higher than a predetermined SoC threshold. The operating point of the internal combustion engine (7) during the standby operation is further on a lower-output side than the operating point of the same during the charging of the battery (4). The operating point of the internal combustion engine (7) during the standby operation is an operating point in which the collector pressure of the internal combustion engine (7) is equal to or higher than a predetermined collector pressure threshold. The operating point of the internal combustion engine (7) during the standby operation is within a lean combustion region.
Disturbance mitigation techniques for hybrid power-split transmissions
A system and method for controlling a hybrid power-split transmission of a vehicle involve obtaining measured rotational speeds of an engine and an electric motor of the transmission, wherein the transmission comprises at least two input shafts having a gear set therebetween and an output shaft, wherein one input shaft is coupled to the engine and another input shaft is connected to the electric motor, determining a main torque profile for the electric motor based on a set of operating conditions of the vehicle, calculating a speed difference between the measured rotational speeds of the engine and the electric motor, determining a disturbance torque profile for the electric motor based on the calculated speed difference, and performing closed-loop control of the electric motor based on a combination of the main and disturbance torque profiles to mitigate a disturbance at the output shaft of the transmission.
Shift point adaptation method for a vehicle powertrain
A vehicle includes an engine, a transmission, and a controller. The engine is configured to generate power to propel the vehicle. The transmission has gears and clutches configured to shift between the gears. The controller is programmed to operate the clutches during wide-open throttle events to upshift the gears at shift points corresponding to engine speeds. The controller is further programmed to adapt the shift points by increasing the shift points over a series of the wide-open throttle events from initial values to mature values.
ONE-PEDAL DRIVE SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A vehicle includes an accelerator pedal, a brake pedal, an electric machine, friction brakes, and a controller. The electric machine is configured to propel the vehicle and to brake the vehicle during regenerative braking. The friction brakes are configured to brake the vehicle. The controller is programmed to, responsive to an operator selection of a one-pedal drive mode, decrease vehicle speed via regenerative braking in response to releasing the accelerator pedal. The controller is further programmed to transition the vehicle to an inhibit state in which the friction brakes are applied to prevent vehicle creep in response to receiving an automated signal to disable the one-pedal drive mode and vehicle speed becoming zero while the one-pedal drive mode is selected.
VEHICLE CONTROL APPARATUS
A driving assistance control section of a vehicle control apparatus has an operation state of a driver's vehicle transition from a stop state to a start-stand-by state keeping a second assistance state, if an accelerating operation larger than a predetermined first threshold acceleration is performed and there is an ahead-located vehicle, and has the driving assistance state transition from the second assistance state to a first assistance state and has the operation state transition from the stop state to the start-stand-by state if an accelerating operation larger than a predetermined second threshold acceleration is performed over a longer time than a predetermined threshold duration and there is an ahead-located vehicle, if follow-up running control is being performed in the second assistance state in which it is not necessary for a driver to hold a steering wheel to continue to have a driving assistance function performed.
Vehicle control device
A vehicle control device is provided which is capable of properly satisfying an acceleration request from a driver even when the driver performs a step-on operation of an accelerator pedal in the implementation of an ACC mode. The vehicle control device is capable of: a front car follow-up travel mode, in which a driving force and a transmission ratio are controlled based on a first accelerator position (AP1) for an inter-vehicle distance to a preceding vehicle to be a target inter-vehicle distance; and an override mode, in which the driving force and the transmission ratio are controlled based on a second accelerator position (AP2) determined by an operation of an accelerator operator performed by a driver. Compared with a second transmission characteristic selected in the override mode, in a first transmission characteristic selected in the front car follow-up travel mode, a threshold of the accelerator position at which at least downshift of a transmission (TM) occurs is set to a higher value or an amount of change of the transmission ratio along with the downshift of the transmission (TM) is set to a lower value.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR VEHICLE
A control device for a vehicle includes a drive shaft, an engine coupled to the drive shaft, an electric motor coupled to the drive shaft, and a control unit. The control unit increases a torque of the electric motor when an accelerator pedal opening increases to equal to or more than a predetermined degree of opening during switching of driving sources, and decreases the torque of the electric motor while increasing the torque of the engine after a change of the torque of the engine turns to increase.
