Impact-Absorbing Ball
An impact-absorbing ball has an exterior liner, a ball body, and a damper core. The exterior liner is superimposed onto the ball body and used to provide a textured or friction-reducing surface. The damper core is integrated into the ball body and has multiple density-modified regions that are used to modify the overall durometer of the ball. Thus, the damper core enables the ball to absorb the impact forces generated by a collision with an athletes' body.

Golf ball dimple shape
The present invention is directed to golf balls having improved aesthetics and desirable aerodynamic properties due, at least in part, to the novel shape of the dimples on the surface thereof. In particular, the present invention is directed to a golf ball that includes at least a portion of its dimples having a shape obtained from the intersection of a prismatic polyhedron and the golf ball outer surface. The resulting curve of intersection represents the dimple perimeter and the intersecting portion of the surface of the prismatic polyhedron represents the dimple surface shape.
Golf balls having at least one polyurethane layer incorporating trans-beta-farnesene diol
Golf ball incorporating polyurethane mixture having wt. % NCO content of 4-20 and including a prepolymer polyol portion comprised of trans--Farnesene diol(s) in an amount of about 3-70 wt. % of total weight of prepolymer. Trans--Farnesene diol may be 15 carbon, long chain, branched, unsaturated 3,4-vinyl-containing bio-hydrocarbon having the formula: ##STR00001## Prepolymer can include a 1:99 to 99:1 blend (wt. % ratio) of Trans--Farnesene diol(s) and polybutadiene-based polyol(s) in an amount of about 35-85 wt. %, along with about 15 wt. %-65 wt. % of diisocyanate(s). Curative may be combined with prepolymer in amount of about 3-25 wt. % of total weight of curative and prepolymer combined, and may be mixture of aromatic diamine(s) and white dispersion in a wt. % ratio of about 90:10 to 50:50, plus catalyst. Hardness of polyurethane mixture can be from 75. Shore A to 75 Shore D or a material hardness can be from about 40 Shore D to about 65 Shore D.
Golf ball having indentations in a lattice structure
A golf ball (20) approaching zero land area is disclosed herein with a plurality of indentations positioned on the lattices of a plurality of multi-faceted polygons. The golf ball (20) has an innersphere with a plurality of lattice members (40). Each of the plurality of lattice members (40) has an apex and the golf ball (20) of the present invention conforms with the 1.68 inches requirement for USGA-approved golf balls.
Two layer recreational air-tight object having a patterned illuminated surface
Systems, apparatus, and methods related to recreational balls with patterned illuminated surfaces are described herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes an air-tight object having an outer layer and an inner layer. The opacity of the outer layer is greater than the opacity of the inner layer. The outer layer defines an aperture. Additionally, a light module is configured to send light from an interior of the air-tight object through the aperture of the outer layer.
Lamp globe with a tactile surface
An object with a tactile outer layer includes, for example, a ball having an outer surface and a series of protrusions or spikes on the outer surface. The protrusion each appear as a tear-dropped shape mass that includes a base having a relatively flat bottom adhered to the outer surface of the ball and a narrow tip and/or curved tail extending away from the outer surface. Manufacturing can be performed by mounting the object and utilizing injection arms that deposit elastomer globules on the object. The globules are deposited by pressure through a reservoir in the injection arm and the injection arms are then withdrawn to product the tail shape.

Golf ball
A matte golf ball which is free of luster and gloss has such a good ball appearance that the injection marks which form during injection molding of the cover are not visible. The golf ball includes a core of at least one layer, a cover of at least one layer, and a paint film. The outermost layer of the cover is formed of a resin composition which includes a thermoplastic resin and a colorant comprising a fluorescent dye or a fluorescent pigment, and has a visible light transmittance with an average value at wavelengths in the 380 to 780 nm spectrum of from 2.0 to 50.0%. The paint film is formed of a urethane-based paint composition containing delustering particles.
WIRELESS POWER-FEEDING APPARATUS
A wireless power-feeding apparatus that enables efficient wireless feeding to a power-receiving coil embedded at the center of a spherical power-receiving device. The apparatus includes: a holding member for holding the power-receiving device; a power-transmitting coil; a driver circuit for supplying the power-transmitting coil with high-frequency current to generate a magnetic flux for wireless power-feeding to the power-receiving coil; and a wireless data receiver for receiving data transmitted regularly from a wireless data transmitter, the power-transmitting coil being positioned relative to the holding member in such a manner that the axes of the power-receiving coil and the power-transmitting coil are parallel to each other when the power-receiving device is held by the holding member in such a manner that a mark provided on the surface of the power-receiving device faces a predetermined direction.
