INFLATION-INDEPENDENT BALL WITH COVER
In some aspects, the invention relates to a inflation independent sports ball comprising a foam core 15 and an outer covering 10, wherein the sports ball is selected from the group consisting of a football, a basketball, a volleyball and a soccer ball, wherein the sports ball 5 is devoid of an inflatable air bladder. In other aspects, the invention relates to a sports ball having a diameter and comprising a synthetic leather outer covering 10 at least partially covering a polyurethane foam core 15, wherein the foam core further comprises at least one internal compartment and a cylindrical body spanning at least part of the length of the diameter of the sports ball. In other aspects, the invention relates to a sports ball having an outer covering and a foam core, wherein the foam core 15 is not filled with foam entirely throughout its internal volume, but rather includes space for air.
Devices made from recycled plastic filler material
A medicine ball formed using a filler comprising shredded plastic particles formed from discarded plastic articles. The discarded plastic articles are ground up together without substantive sorting out of the articles by plastic type, color, etc.
Golf ball components formed from hydroxyurethane compositions
Thermoplastic and thermoset compositions including hydroxyurethane linkages, golf ball components formed using such thermoplastic or thermoset compositions, and golf balls including such golf components.
Golf ball coatings formed from hydroxyurethane compositions
Coating compositions including hydroxyurethane linkages, coating layers formed from such coating compositions, and golf balls including such coating layers.
Ball-Shaped Play Equipment
A ball-shaped play equipment is provided that can be gripped by users with their fingers, accommodates fingertips pressed into the equipment, and rolls appropriately when thrown onto a floor or other such surface. The ball-shaped play equipment comprises a bag and filler provided inside the bag. The filler is formed from a plurality of components, each of which is flexible and intertwines to form a single mass, and rolls on a surface along with the bag. A volume occupied by the filler in the bag is smaller than a maximum capacity of the bag.

Weighted article with quick fill and hammock dam closure
An article (600) is provided which includes a body (500) having an interior volume (100), and hook (124) and loop (125) features which, when pressed closed in at least one locations (130, 131) location, creates a dynamic hammock dam (132) that retains a fill material (140) that has been inserted into the interior volume. The strength of the hammock dam increases with outward pressure (141) applied on the closure by the fill material. The article is preferably equipped with a large mouth opening (110) which allows rapid filling or emptying of the fill material from the internal volume.
Golf ball composition
Disclosed herein are polyurethane/urea golf ball compositions. The compositions comprise the reaction product of a polyisocyanate prepolymer, a reactive ultraviolet light absorber, and a chain extender. Suitable reactive ultraviolet light absorbers contain at least one reactive functional end group.
Golf ball
Golf balls including at least one modified dimple group are disclosed. The modified dimple group comprises one or more modified dimples forming an axially symmetric pattern about a Correction Area Centroid located on an axis of symmetry at a latitude greater than 0?, where 0? represents the hemispherical pole and 90? represents the equator. The modified dimples can be altered, for example, by changing dimple coverage, dimple diameter, dimple depth, dimple edge angle, dimple volume, dimple cross-sectional shape, and/or dimple plan shape. Optionally, the dimples have a catenary cross-sectional shape and the modified dimples are altered by changing the shape factor and/or chord depth. Such modifications preferably produce a golf ball that flies more consistently regardless of orientation when struck than a corresponding golf ball without such modifications.
Golf ball resin composition and golf ball
A golf ball resin composition includes (A) a styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer having a Shore D hardness of not more than 48 and (B) a thermoplastic resin having a Shore D hardness of at least 49 and containing either styrene monomer units or diene monomer units on the molecule, in a compounding ratio A/B therebetween of from 85/15 to 15/85. Using this resin composition as a golf ball cover material provides the ball with an excellent controllability around the green on shots with a short iron such as a sand wedge. In addition, a sufficient reduction in the spin rate of the ball on shots with a driver is achieved, enabling the distance of the ball to be increased.
