Training apparatuses are provided that include a substantially spherical, hollow shell formed from a pair of hemispherical portions. The hemispherical portions may each include an annular peripheral edge having a fastening mechanism, which may be adapted to provide rigidity and structure to the training apparatus. At least one hemispherical portion may further include a number of protrusions extending along an inner surface from the peripheral edge, the protrusions configured to provide structural support and durability to the training apparatus.

Disclosed herein is a sporting ball with a specific image printed on the sporting ball. The image is generated, selected, or captured by a user, which triggers a process for printing the image onto the ball. Further disclosed are systems and methods for printing and delivering the sporting ball with the image. The image may be an image of the user, a favorite sports athlete, or a celebrity. Certain preferred embodiments utilize a basketball, a soccer ball, or a football. However, alternative embodiments may include any type of sporting ball. The image may be captured by numerous means recognizable by those skilled in the art, including but not limited to a computing device, a cellular phone, a tablet, a web cam, a digital cam, and other traditional non-digital cameras.

A flip toy assembly provides a launcher having and a projectile that is launched and can be caught by the launcher. The launcher has an elongate handle. The handle has a top end and a bottom end, distal from the top end. A head is fixedly attached to the bottom end. A projectile has an apex having a first side and a second side. The invention relates to a play device intended for juggling, comprising upper branches, and lower branches, an upper linking part, and a lower linking part, the upper and lower linking parts being aligned along a main axis, and a peripheral armature, of annular shape arranged between the upper linking part and the lower linking part along the main axis, said upper branches and lower branches forming an external envelope delimiting an interior space of the play device and being configured to deform in such a way that the device passes from an initial shape to a bowed shape when a user bounces the play device on his body, and from the bowed shape to the initial shape after the bounce.

In the process of making a hollow product, especially a deformable toy ball, two halves made from on elastomeric material, a thermoplastic material, rubber, a blend of rubbers, or a thermoplastic elastomer are formed by injection molding with mating edges that engage with each other when the halves are assembled to form the product. The edge of one of the two halves is advantageously formed with a recess centered in the edge, in which a flange formed on the edge of the other of the two halves engages to provide a form-fitting connection between the two halves. The opposing edges are then bonded with each other by fusion or melting or by an adhesive applied to at least one of the edges prior to assembling the halves together. A deformable ball produced by the process is also described.

In other aspects, the invention relates to a sports ball having a diameter and comprising a synthetic leather outer covering 10 at least partially covering a polyurethane foam core 15, wherein the foam core further comprises at least one internal compartment and a cylindrical body spanning at least part of the length of the diameter of the sports ball. In other aspects, the invention relates to a sports ball having an outer covering and a foam core, wherein the foam core 15 is not filled with foam entirely throughout its internal volume, but rather includes space for air.
