Heat exchanger support assembly
A support assembly is disclosed for use with a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger support assembly may include a frame configured to receive a heat exchanger. The frame may include a top section, a bottom section, and first and second side sections. The heat exchanger support assembly may also include at least one support member configured to mount a tank associated with the heat exchanger to the frame.
SNOWMOBILE HAVING A CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
A snowmobile includes: a frame including a tunnel; a rear suspension assembly connected to the frame and disposed beneath the tunnel; an endless track supported by the rear suspension assembly; a motor supported by the frame and operatively connected to the endless track; a drive shaft driven by the motor, a driven shaft operatively connected to the 5 endless track; and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) operatively connecting the drive shaft to the endless track, the CVT comprising: a drive pulley mounted to the drive shaft, the drive pulley being operatively connected to the motor via the drive shaft; a driven pulley mounted to the driven shaft, the driven shaft operatively connecting the driven pulley to the endless track; a belt operatively connecting the drive and driven pulleys; and a CVT 0 housing having a rigid mounting portion connected to the frame and to the motor. Other aspects are also contemplated.
Pivotable wheel assembly for snowmobile ski
The present invention provides a retractable wheel system for snowmobile skis. The retractable wheel system of the present invention may be installed on a snowmobile ski without affecting its structural integrity by installing the system on the reinforced portion of the snowmobile ski. When a user circulates in a path with little or no snow, the retractable wheel system is positioned in the extended configuration by the user and the system will automatically return to the retracted configuration when the user returns in a snowy zone. This is realized by using a pre-tensioned spring that will reposition the wheel in the retracted configuration. The spring transmits a rotational movement to the member on which the wheel is fixed.
STACKABLE CONTAINER ASSEMBLY
A stackable container assembly is disclosed, the assembly having a base container having a container body having a top surface and a bottom surface, an attachment base adapted for connecting the base container to a vehicle, and a fixture assembly attached to the top surface; and an accessory container having an accessory body having an accessory bottom surface, and an accessory base on the accessory bottom surface selectively connecting the accessory container to the fixture assembly of the base container such that the accessory container is stacked on top of the base container. A container and a vehicle provided with the stackable container assembly are also disclosed.
SNOWMOBILE HEAT EXCHANGER ASSEMBLY
A heat exchanger assembly has a front portion, a middle portion rearward of the front portion, a rear portion rearward of the middle portion, a top part and a bottom part disposed below the top part. At least one of the front and rear portions is curved from the middle portion. The at least one of the front and rear portions extends below the middle portion. The bottom part is joined to the top part. At least one of the top and bottom parts defines a recess. The top and bottom parts define therebetween a passage formed in part by the recess. A width of the passage varies along a length of the heat exchanger assembly. The passage has an inlet and an outlet. A snowmobile with a heat exchanger assembly and a method of manufacturing a heat exchanger assembly are also disclosed.
SNOWMOBILE HAVING A CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
A snowmobile includes a frame, a driver seat supported by the frame, a left footrest and a right footrest, a rear suspension assembly connected to the frame, an endless track supported by the rear suspension assembly, a motor supported by the frame and operatively connected to the endless track, a drive shaft operatively connected to the endless track, and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) operatively connecting the drive shaft to the endless track. The CVT comprises a drive pulley operatively connected to the motor, a driven pulley mounted to the driven shaft, a belt operatively connecting the drive pulley to the driven pulley, and a CVT housing having a first lateral side, a second lateral side, and a peripheral wall defining together an internal volume of the CVT housing, enclosing the drive pulley, the driven pulley and the belt. The CVT housing defines an air inlet and an air outlet.
ENDLESS TRACK CONVEYANCE MACHINES HAVING A TORQUE ASSIST SYSTEM FOR ENHANCING PERFORMANCE AND A BATTERY TEMPERAURE ASSIST
Conveyance vehicles such as snow bikes and snowmobiles having an endless track system driven by a combustion engine are enhanced in performance with a torque assist system. The torque assist system includes an electric motor that is coupled to drive the track in parallel with the original internal combustion engine through either its own track drive, or through the drive system of the engine. The motor can be a spindle drive motor or hub motor. Torque assist is generated through a torque assist throttle input coupled to a motor controller. A battery temperature assist system diverts heated cooling fluid from the engine cooling system to heat the battery through its own heat exchanger. The controller is coupled to a processing device such as a smart phone that executes apps configured to provide parametric data to the controller and to receive parametric data from the controller through a user interface.
SNOWMOBILE
A snowmobile includes a chassis comprising a bulkhead and a tunnel, a front suspension coupled to bulkhead, a rear suspension coupled to the tunnel, and slide rails coupled to the rear suspension.
Snow groomer with touch screen control user interface
