Vehicle controller
Initial variation learning control is executed when learning condition is satisfied each time of its satisfaction, to absorb initial variations of manufacturing errors or variations of components of second clutch (CL2). When the number of times of total learning is counted and this becomes predetermined number (e.g. five times), initial variation learning control is judged to be converged. On the basis of condition of this convergence, so-called vertical sliding speed control returning belt (50) of variator (V) to LOWEST transmission ratio position is performed. With this, vertical sliding speed control is not performed in state in which excessively large torque acts on second clutch, and durability of belt and pulley is increased. It is therefore possible to prevent vertical sliding speed control from being performed in state in which input torque is predetermined value or greater, and possible to improve response of accelerator operation after performing vertical sliding speed control.
CLUTCH CONTROL DEVICE FOR FOUR-WHEEL-DRIVE VEHICLE
A vehicle clutch control device is provided for switching from a two-wheel drive traveling to a four-wheel drive traveling. The vehicle clutch control device includes a dog clutch that separates a rear wheel drive from a front wheel drive by releasing the dog clutch, an electronically controlled coupling that distributes a driving force of a transverse engine to left and right rear wheels in accordance with a clutch connection capacity, and a four-wheel drive control unit. The four-wheel drive control unit switches the drive mode to one of a disconnect two-wheel drive mode in which the dog clutch and the electronically controlled coupling are released, a connect four-wheel drive mode in which the dog clutch and the electronically controlled coupling are engaged, and a stand-by two-wheel drive mode in which the dog clutch is engaged while the electronically controlled coupling is released.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR LEARNING TOUCH POINT OF ENGINE CLUTCH OF HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE
An apparatus and a method are provided for learning a touch point of an engine clutch of a hybrid electric vehicle that learns the touch point of the engine clutch based on a change of an engine torque while the hybrid electric vehicle is running The method includes determining whether an engine clutch coupling after shifting is required and whether a learning condition based on a running state of the hybrid electric vehicle is satisfied when the engine clutch coupling after shifting is required. A coupling pressure of the engine clutch is increased when the learning condition is satisfied and a changing amount of an engine torque based on the increased coupling pressure of the engine clutch is compared with a predetermined value. The touch point of the engine clutch is learned when the changing amount of the engine torque is greater than or equal to the predetermined value.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR LEARNING ENGINE CLUTCH CONTACT POINT OF HYBRID VEHICLE
A method for learning a contact point of an engine clutch configured to control connection of power between an engine and a motor of a hybrid vehicle is provided. The method includes performing a first learning of the contact point of the engine clutch by increasing a contact speed of the engine clutch and storing information of a first contact point learned by the first learning. A second learning of the contact point of the engine clutch is then performed by decreasing the contact speed of the engine clutch.
